Overall very happy with my purchase! This is the best of these types of beds available on under 400. All solid wood, pieces were marked per the instructions and in excellent condition. No mdf except the drawer bottoms. The trundle accepts a regular sized twin mattress unlike the majority of others that require a smaller/thinner sofa bed mattress. Assembly does take some time as expected when assembling a large piece of furniture. The instructions were no problem to follow with common sense. The pieces come mixed in two cartons for ease of shipment, not ease of assembly. Time and frustration can be reduced by grouping them by their order of assembly before starting construction. It is more solid and sturdy than I expected it would be. Time will tell but, it seems like it will outlast the vast majority of comperable beds made with mdf. Could it be better?? Yes, it could be made of oak, have more bracing, better handles for the drawers and a book shelf in the headboard but good luck finding or even building one like that from scratch for under 400. Overall we are very pleased with this purchase and our 10y/o daughter loves her new bed. I dont give 5 stars unless something really far exceeds expectations. Almost everything these days could be cheaper in price or better in quality in some way. This is a solid 4 1/2.
great for the low price Holes for slats were not pre-drilled. Took my adult son 2 days to assemble! Sturdy, Grandsons love it. Easy to slide 2nd bed in and out. After reading reviews, I bought 7 inch memory foam mattress for botton bed which has worked great! But nothing bigger would have fit! Drawers are great for storage of extra bedding and toys!
Excellent! My children are happy with their new bed, it arrived much earlier than expected and in perfect condition, following the instructions in the manual step by step, it is very easy to install, the wood is very robust, which makes the bed ideal for children who they love to jump!
Easy to assemble, light smell The instructions were weak on the drawer sliders. Also, a second Allen wrench would be helpful as the first one started to strip due to all of the bolts that you had put in this piece of furniture.
Appropriate for the price We bought one of these beds in May for my daughters room in the Rustic Honey color and it has worked out so well! The color is so pretty! So, we bought 2 more for our upstairs loft room in Weathered Black for my son and my 3 step sons (ages 11, 10, 10, 9) and they are amazing! The color is awesome too! The 3 drawers at the bottom have lots of space too. I highly recommend these trundles. We bought the Olee Sleep 6 inch ventilated milti layered memory foam mattresses for my daughter room in May and the 6 inch green tea memory foam mattresses for the boys beds. All the kids say they are very comfortable!

Comfortable, and looks nice too. Not the best assembly instructions but very sturdy. Looks much more expensive than It was.

Good buy, but some of the instructions are iffy. Allow yourself 24-48 hours to build.
