The delivery was later than promised. When I complained to Cymax (the manufacturer) about this, they were very apologetic and explained the delivery company scheduling was out of their control. However, they provided a credit for my inconvenience. I thought this showed they have excellent customer service.
Glad I found what I wanted Im very happy with this bed. It is very well made and easy to put together. My wife had it nearly complete when I got home from work. It arrived in small enough boxes to get up our stairs. The plans were easy to follow. It is a very nice looking bed, and quite solidly built. It supports our memory foam mattress very well. I would recommend this bed to anyone.
Long time to assemble. But worth the time. Really surprisingly good quality for the price. I looked at a similar chunky bed frame from West Elm for nearly $1500 delivered, and the wood was hollow. This thing is legitimately solid wood, and the shipping manifest says it weighs 205lbs. Sturdy, doesnt wobble. The wood is weathered a bit, but looks much more sleek than rustic in person compared to these photos. Overall really happy with the product.
One thing to note - it will ship freight and mine took over three weeks to arrive.

I loved it so much, I have it in each of my three bedrooms...twin beds in one, double bed in another and king in the master bedroom. I initially bought the night tables and loved them so much I used them in my great room as end tables. Everyone admires them. Just use a slightly damp cloth, no furniture polish, to wipe away the dust.
If youre thinking about it...Order it! I had to wait almost a month extra to receive this bed but its ok, it was for a good reason. The delivery service (Manna-Awesome delivery company, by the way) called and informed me that the bed had been damaged in transit and so a re-order had to be performed. So nice of them to be honest instead of delivering damaged stuff. Delivery folks were clean, professional and polite.
I was able to put this bed together by myself in about 40 minutes, and I do stuff like this somewhat slow and methodical (IE: I read the instructions). I did not find any aspect of assembly to be difficult but I understand what they mean in some of the other reviews. I recommend tightening the side rail screws at the end (as recommended in the instructions) because when you install the slats, it kind of squares everything up nicely.
So far I do not see any reason to screw in all of the slats. They are all connected by a cloth anyway. The slats (all five of them) in my previous bed were not screwed down and they never moved out of place.
The only negative for me was in the slats. There were two metal stapels sticking out of them and I got poked by both of them! In addition, the slats are not completely sanded and you can get a somewhat gnarley splinter from them. Oh, and some folks may need a bit of help in carrying the slats as they are all connected together by a cloth strip and may be heavy and ungainly handling for some...
I am very satisfied with this bed. It looks really nice, and is sturdy, the wood is a nice hardwood. They did a great job on the wood stain as well.
They Look perfect in my quest room this bed is unbelievable (: soooo heavy but that is a good thing. took about an hour to put up since it didnt come with instrucions but we found them on another website thanks to other reviewers. I am beyond happy about this purchase because this bed is a steal for your money
Absolutely love it. Not the best bed on the market, but for a kind-sized bed that doesnt use box springs, its quite attractive and quite well priced. The only issue I had was that no instructions were included. Thankfully, does have a pretty decent website, so if you end up in the same circumstance, look up the model number and you can find instructions there (or instructions for a very similar product).

I wanted a low profile, Asian style frame for my foam mattress and I am very happy with this.
Espresso has more hint of reddish mahogany than I expected but it still works well with my black lacquer furniture.
