Gorgeous and well-built I bought this set for my grandsons to visit, stay all night, and have their own space. The beds are very sturdy, and they love them!
Okay I spent days searching for bunkbeds for my boys 5 and 2. We checked everything from the room place, to , target, Ashley furniture, value city, bobs furniture and . After days of searching we decided on these beds. I wanted it in a darker color but the delivery was too far out. So we went with white (although its more ivory than white but I also think lighting plays a role.) Either way we LOVE the white!
Delivery was a day late and when i contacted they explained something was wrong with their truck hence it being late. When it came it came secured nothing was broken or sticking out as some reviews mentioned.
It took both my husband and I to bring it in as it was heavy.
We brought it up to the boys room and opened the box up. There was a slight smell to it like a mix of wood and paint but we opened the window while we put it together and by the time it was done the smell was very minimal to non existent im hoping in a few days its completely gone.
The setup took about an hour to an hour in a half. Once put together we tested out the sturdiness and called our 5 yr old to see how he does with climbing the ladder and he loved it! We did put a munchkin rail guard on the bottom bunk for our toddler and it fit perfectly with the mattress.
The wood is solid and sturdy. We used 6 memory foam mattress for both bunks and they fit great! We got the mattress from target for 100 bucks!
Overall as of now were completely satisfied with the bed! Will update in a few months!
Love this bunk bed. Sturdy, not too imposing/tall in the room, and a great price. Shipping was delayed, but it got to us eventually. All pieces there and required minimal tools of our own (mallet , screwdriver). Putting it together was fairly easy - we laid out all the pieces and followed step by step. Only hiccup was at the end when doing the rails, pay close attention to that bit. The ladder cant be placed anywhere but the right side.
I dont like that I knock my head on the top bunk almost every night, but Im learning. Also, its minor, but making the bed the comforters dont tuck in well around the ladder or top rails, so it always looks a bit unkempt.
I foresee this lasting well into elementary school and perhaps further as two twins. Very happy with our purchase.
Smart-Looking and Comfortable Putting the bed together took about 2-3 hours and definitely requires 2 people. Not hard, just have to follow the directions closely. Seems pretty sturdy so far!
What I loved most about this bunk bed is youre able to use apart when the kids get bigger. My kids are 4 2, had since they were 3 1.. way better to keep apart than put on top each other.
