    Great, Simple, Affordable Bunk Bed

We recently installed these as two separate beds, as our kids are still a bit young for bunk beds. Instructions werent great, but not awful either. Hardware quality is so-so and they could be labeled better. Dont be like me and use the wrong screws when attaching the side rails with the barrel bolts (woops!); its a pain to take them out and re-do. Having learned from my mistake on the first bed, the second one went much smoother and I assembled it alone, as a pretty small woman, in just under an hour. I did use a power drill for the support slats, but otherwise stuck with the annoying Allen wrench it came with for the rest. Tip: when attaching the side rails, use something about as high as the rails are (such as an ottoman or stacks of books) to prop the rails up while you screw them into the head/footboards. I cant comment on how theyd be as bunk beds, but separately, they are sturdy, quiet, and are great for my Teo young children. Im hopeful well get a good 10 years out of them, if not longer. Heirloom-quality? Probably not. But a great value and a good solution for a kids room theyll eventually move out of.

    Sturdy!

I was surprised at how sturdy this is. Sometimes put together you bed pieces are a bit flimsy. I have a 10 and 8 yr old and I feel safe that its going to stay put!

Horrible assembly hope it doesnt break

Alot of the parts of the bed arent properly fitted, for example wooden dowels being extremely loose in the holes to the point where I had to wood glue them in. Also the planks that are supposed to hold the mattresses up arent long enough to fit across the whole bed. This might not be the same for you but just be cautious because this company seems to manufacture very inconsistent products. Very unfortunate

    Solid and Sturdy!

I am pleased with my purchase! The bunk bed was delivered on time. Assembly wasnt difficult, but be sure to be familiar with the parts and the diagram. I did have a couple of minor flaws but they were not gamechangers for me; I observed a couple of scars made during manufacture and a warped board for the headboard. I do recommend putting a thing piece of plywood or paneling over the wood mattress supports to prevent possible overloading a single board. Or add a two or more boards for extra support.

Missing pieces and some difficult assembly

I bought two of these bunk beds. One was missing two major bolts and the other had a side rail that was slightly short. The manufacturer was out of stock on the parts and suggested calling . I found the bolts myself, actually through and other sources. Assembly was mostly straight forward, however, in 16 places a joint connector bolt with a barrel nut in a blind hole is used. Several of these barrel nuts did not align with the bolt, and required modification of the hole and/or barrel nut to make the connection. This made this portion of assembly exceedingly difficult, and could be a show-stopper for many people. The finished product does look nice.

    Kids Love it!!

It took 2 people to build in about 2 hours. You definitely need power tools to build this and the help of 1 or 2 people to help you hold parts together. I have my 7 year old son on the top bunk and my 5 year old daughter on the bottom bunk. They absolutely love it.

    Sturdy good quality

Nice bed and no wobble when my son climbs in . Very sturdy and solid materials. ATTENTION- you will need a light cordless drill . Some bolts are long with tension with Allen wrench only . Will cut your building time double in half.

Need two people to put together. 3 hours to complete, but ladder issue added an hour

Instructions not clear on installation of ladder. Be sure the holes on the top bunk top guardrail are in the correct position with the ladder. Otherwise when you go to install ladder you will either have to breakdown much of what you have done on top bunk assembly or you will need to drill new holes to attach ladder to guardrail - which is what I did

Just about 3 months and a part of the main frame broken. I am trying to get someone from customer service to replace the bunk bed or replace the damage part...
