We actually bought this for our second bedroom, and use the top racks for kayak storage in the winter! They are sturdy, easy to put up and down, and look nice. It did take awhile to set up, but thats to be expected as it came in a small flat box.
The instruction book was not well written at all. I had to undo a few parts, because many parts didnt fit. I wish the instruction book would warn me to keep all screws loosed, and then tighten them at the very end. Its a bed design, because every screw is stretching too much (too much tension) in order to keep the bed together. The materials are also very cheap, because by the end of the assembly, a lot of screws are stripped already. I mean its a brand new bed but the screws are stripped. When I move again in the future, I dont know if the screws will last, or if I have to buy a whole new set of screws in order to reassemble it again. (Im guessing they charge a lot for screws replacement.)
Not very pleased with the fact that every time my 9 year old Grandson gets on the top bunk the bed shakes as he is going up the ladder ! Steps on the ladder or thin and hurt his feet as he is climbing up and he is a small 9 year old . Glad I purchased this just for the playroom and it isnt something he has to sleep on every night ! I dont believe it would be safe for a 200 lb person on top and up to 600 lbs on bottom as description states !!
Has held up against two destructive kids with special needs. My autistic daughter chewed through her wooden bunk beds headboard in a month so we were happy to purchase something she wouldnt be inclined to chew on.

Great sturdy bed. Cant beat the price either. I purchased memory foam mattresses from as well. It all worked out great.

Better than expected
This is better than i expected. It gets used every other weekend by my twin 14 year old twin boys.
