I love the look and the sturdiness of this bed. Unfortunately, when we were assembling it (it takes two people to assemble), there was a post that had holes in the wrong side. We had to drill through to connect the desk part to the correct side. But for the cost, this is a great bed frame.
I can't tell you how happy I am with this bunk bed. It's held up to my teenager where so many other bunks have failed. Thanks to me two rambunctious boys I've had to buy new bunk beds every couple of years. This one may actually last until they're out of the house. Or at least until one of them is. So far there's been no bowing or bending of any sort. The frame supports both my boys perfectly.
My kids and I love this bed! Wish we had purchased the desk version. Currently we have an IKEA futon and two shelving units underneath. We have hung soccer medals underneath and bought some rope lights and net lights to add to it.
I'm a football player in college that bunks with another player in a dorm. I weigh 240 lbs and my buddy weighs 225 lbs and this bunk bed doesn't even move or wiggle getting on and off the top or bottom. Also you want to go with a Lucid 10 inch extra long twin mattress. Not only is it the best sleep, but you can fit it in the bed area and it fills up the bunk all the way. It also makes it silent when one person gets up during the night and you can't even tell anybody is getting up. The length of the bunk bed is about 78" and the foam mattress is 80" that is another great thing about foam it squeezes in nicely and gives you every inch the bed can give you for the taller person like myself. I'm 6'3" and have more than enough room.
Two years later bunk bed has been used a ton still with the 2 twin xl lucid 10" memory foam mattresses. Not even a hiccup or a squeak. Bunk is still strong with top bunk player is at 250lbs and on the bottom at 265lbs. Two big boys and the this bunk is great. I'm sure that the memory foam is a big help to the incredible silence of the bunk. The setup I used and left in my review has to be one for the ages, affordable, unbelievably comfortable, strong, silent and both on at the best price. Enjoy with confidence.
After ordering the bundbeds, we received the shipment within the correct amount of time; however, we only received half of the parts. I called in the issue and they wrote down all the 100 missing parts. One week and two days later, we received that shipment (they refused to ship any way other than UPS ground). We were then missing half of those parts!
When I called in about these missing parts (all the slats and two other parts), they were very rude on the phone, but said they would ship them out. 3 days later, I called for the tracking number and was told that they were not shipped out because my account was flagged as being suspicious because I didn't tell them all the missing parts to begin with. What?! So, I'm called a liar and my child is sleeping on a mattress on the floor next to some of the parts of the bed for 3 weeks!
They argued with me for 30 minutes, stated they only had one customer service rep, wouldn't let me talk to the manager or owner. It was a nightmare!
After a total of SIX phone calls and 4 weeks, we received all the parts and my son loves the bunkbeds. It was worth all the ridiculous phone calls just for the smile on his face!
I bought this bed for my 12 year old. I put it together by myself; the instructions were easy to follow, all pieces were well labeled and all pieces are very well made. It is very sturdy and is a very good value for the money .. especially when it was over half off the regular price. We both love the bed and I would recommend it.

Good for under 200pounds. The stairs hurt a lot to step on. I recommend duck tape and covering with quarters of pool noodles. Very wobbly.
Nice bed
Heavy, sturdy and durable. Its has a metal construction and is solid. I built it myself but would have been easier with 2 people.

Good kid's bed..
Bought this for my ten year old daughter to save space in her room. Went together pretty easy doesn't squeak, seems pretty solid.
