Expected. My kids love this bed. I also like the design how the slats go up and down instead of laying flat. Makes the bed more sturdy and comfortable. However, I wouldnt recommend this for teenagers. My kids are 7 and younger. Very lightweight. I wouldnt trust it for older kids. Its not real wood. Very light material. Not sure what its called. it Does the trick. We are happy
Good deal and was easy to put together. I bought 2 sets for the Destructo/bots AKA the great grandchildren ages 4/11. Despite their best efforts the bunks have stood up to whatever they do!

Best triple bunk bed Ive found!
It was easy. This bed is fantastic! Its solid, heavy and very sturdy. Bought it for my 8yr old, 7yr old and 4yr old. They LOVE it.
