Bought this bunk bed for my youngest daughter because she has always wanted one. I thought I would be getting some cheap particle board like Ikea. This bed is solid wood and sturdy! The poor UPS man could barely move the box because it was so heavy! There are a lot of pieces to put together, but it is easier to assemble than Ikea furniture. We love it and (most importantly) she does too! What a great buy!
It turn out that you have to assemble every little piece together to put the bed together. We came across two problem one you need hand held screw driver in order to put it together because the L shape device was not helpful at all. So we had to go hardware store to get what we need to assemble it. Second problem we came across was fact that when we went to stack it the holes for the dowls were in the wrong place on one side of the bed frame so now we have to find a different alternative to stabilize the beds so that are secure for stacking. not happy at all
It did take about 2 hours, 2 people. Everything came as expected and whole. It is sturdy and good quality. We love it. Just watch for the weight of the box it comes in, its something like 123lbs so its VERY heavy. Looks so good!
This bed is gorgeous! I was hesitant to buy a bunk bed that was priced so affordable, but I am not the least bit disappointed. It looks gorgeous in our daughters room and they are thrilled. Very nice quality and looks nice.
Wonderful bed and sturdy. The directions are easy to follow but Im glad my husband put it together because there is no way I would have been able to do it. Our ladder pieces were damaged however the company sent me the pieces as soon as I emailed them and they arrived in two days. The kids love their beds and this was a great purchase ! Worth every penny.
