I was very disappointed that it wasnt black. It is a speckled dark grayish. Took two hours with two handy people to put together as screw threads didnt go together easily. Once together it looks okay but wobbles and squeaks every time anything moves at all. Also the standard twin mattress I brought on is too big for the upper bed with the rails making it very difficult/almost impossible to make the bed
Bunks themselves are decent. They were quite heavy to lift and to maneuver and I have twins so I bought two , so you could only imagine. On both bunks there were dents and scratches as if it came used, it being 220$ each I called hoping for some sort of compensation or discount based on that. They said I could return it and get a full refund , being that they were already set up—- I felt stuck with something that I didnt really feel like I got my bang for the buck. Not exactly what I expected for that type of total $$
The box is heavy when you get it. So be carful when moving. The frame and sturdiness is good. It did have a few dings but nothing people will see or effect the structure strength. Its perfect to have a custom table for the bed so everything was a good experience. Thx :)
I got this bed as it had a Khufu weight limit and it was a higher loft bed. But when my son gets up and down it makes so much noise and the railing all ready popped out of the legs. The ladder does no fit on the bar correctly so its constantly moving. DO NOT BUY!!!
The bunk looks nice and is perfect size. However, either of my children can sit on it without it squeaking. Its so annoying, I can hear it all the way up on the next floor of the house.
As my son tosses and turns at night, neither can get much rest. Wish we didnt need to buy in a rush and couldve done more research.—if you can, shop around and find something better.
Im so worried that this thing will break every-time I hear the annoying squeaks coming from it.
It hasnt broken down. Like all bunk beds on Earth, it can squeak when moving around.
Was easy to build. One of the bolt threads was stripped, but its still okay.
Got this bunk bed for my kids, a five-year old boy and a seven-year girl. They had been asking for a bunk bed for a long time. Its perfect for us. The price is reasonable. Its compact and space saving. There are plenty of room for storage under the bed. Besides, its sturdy and not squeaky even when my kids hang on the top bed slats like playing monkey bar. About the assembling, the instruction is clear and the steps are easy, but it still needs some work. I would suggest two people put it together, which would save some effort. Overall, we are really satisfied with the bunk bed.
I love the bunk beds for my kids but I have a few problems the hardware packages could be a lot better the put 3 different bolts in a bag and put 3 different lose little square papers that said the part number but I didnt know which bolt part number it went to. All the bags were like that different parts put together in different bags so it was frustrating. The stairs railing came in damaged and cracked I had took everything out of my kids rooms so I couldnt return it so I had to build it It managed to hold but still worried since its cracked. The holes on the bed and holes on the stairs do not line up so I cant bolt on the stairs to the bed so its loose I managed to have it in tight but still comes out when my son walks up the stairs also one of the holes on the stairs doesnt have thread in it for the bolt to screw in so even if the holes lined up I couldnt screw it in. Last thing is since the stairs isnt too secure and keeps coming out the side panel and bottom corner of stairs cracked because it kept hitting the bed when my son walks up and down the stairs. This would be a 5 star rating if I didnt have those problems other than that bunk bed is great a little too pricy the material is pretty cheap and not worth it in my opinion I will co tact customer service and if they help me and send me the defective parts to replace I will change my rating to 5
First let me say that I really appreciate it how the pieces and hardware were set. It was not difficult to understand the assembly at all. That being said, it also, in my opinion, should not have been priced as high as it was. I paid over $600 for it and, at the time of this review, I see that it is less than that. $450-475 would be a fair price for the bed. An important factor I need to share, this bed is very high. It is my fault, we did not look at the specific measurements; it just did not look any higher than an average bunk bed in the photo they provided. The picture I have added actually doesnt give an accurate vantage, my seven-year-old who is sitting down is very close to the ceiling. The second night he was actually hit in the head by the ceiling fan, our fault, we thought we had turned it off. We realized that we cannot have it on because just him sitting up puts his head very close to it and, sadly it did happen, if he gets up on his knees when half asleep he will be hit by the fan. Good thing is it was just a swollen eye and an abrasion that went down after a few days. So my most important advice, check the measurements!

It will have to do.

Worth the money!
I was really uncertain this would work in my small space but it ended up being a perfect fit.
We are satisfied with this great bunk bed.
