    A great trundle.......

Very well built for a 'you-do-it' product. Feels strong and sturdy for an occaisional trundle use. Very happy with this unit. The wheels roll straight and smooth. I have no experience with any others, but would buy this one again. I feel it rates the high reviews bestowed on it by others!!!

Good but there are some things I don’t like

Very wobbly and there is no hole in the frame above the ladder to get into the bed. I am 5’3 and I can’t stand straight up under it.

Very wobbly. Ended up being too high for my ceiling but it makes a fine makeshift attic for my studio apt.

    Wobbly

Very wobbly. I was too skeptical to sleep on it a full night, will have to secure it to the wall in order to feel fully safe. Pretty simple to put together, took me hours by myself but I am pretty slow. Also, like all the other reviews say, the ladder hurts. Bad. I can't climb up unless I have shoes on. On the plus side it looks very nice and now I have much more space in my small room 3 month update: I decided to just man up and sleep on it as is, after having slept on it many nights with no problems except some wobbling I'm very confident sleeping on it. I still have to wear slippers to climb up or else it's torture on my feet, I'll invest in some pool noodles soon. I've added a couch to the bottom and overall I'm extremely happy with this bed. I'll also purchase the bedside shelf to hold my slippers and other items while I'm on top.

    Better than I expected!!

Very, very solid! Packed very well. Arrived with no scratches even though outside box was damaged in shipping. It came 5 days before the day it was supposed to arrive, and all the parts were there & were labeled. It took me and my 8 year old daughter about 4 hours to assemble, but I was very methodical and slow. We did an inventory of all parts before we began, and I read other consumer reviews for helpful hints. I even switched the ladder to the other side --- and did so correctly!! Only negative about the bed is that the ladder rungs are thin, round and hard, so they have a tendancy to hurt the bottoms of my daughters feet. I'm thinking of getting some swimming noodles and attaching with double sided tape around the rungs to lessen the impact.

Waaaay too tall. My daughter doesn't have much head room and well, she hates it.

    WARNING!

WARNING: I started to assemble this bed today and it was not making sense. The parts did not match the image in the directions. I called the manufacturer, the first person I spoke with said maybe they were mislabeled and I should try to switch the parts. Then I found another part that did not match. I called again. The second person I spoke with said, "Oh, sorry. The directions and parts have changed, you received the old directions." REALLY!!! She then emailed me a PDF of the correct directions. They did make sense, but saying that, there is no way anyone could do this in an hour. Also, the slats are a pain to insert and the plastic tabs that hold them in place are very difficult to insert. I put them in boiling water to soften them up. This helped a LOT! It is finally assembled and does seem pretty sturdy. Most bunk beds have an opening. This bed requires you to lift your legs over the bars. Again, don't even begin to assemble unless you are certain you have the correct directions. Good Luck. (P.S. When I called the manufacturer I actually got a live person on the phone with the first ring - amazing!!)

    Measurements listed are wrong

Warning: the under-bed measurements listed on are inaccurate. Under bed height is only 55” at most. Takes a while to assemble but nothing difficult. Sturdiness is so-so - entire frame moves/wiggles with an 11 yr old going up or down the ladder.

Has held up great to three kids using it as a jungle gym ...

Was a little difficult to put together given the artistic drawings were not so artistic in the instructions. A little wobbly, but that is to be expected. Has held up great to three kids using it as a jungle gym when they think I can't hear them!
