I like that this bed frame is made of wood and its stylish. The instructions were easy to follow. What Im concerned about is that the slats in the head and footboards are pretty thin, if someone were to kick on them, they can break. The stain on my frame is lovely, but it would be great if there were a couple coats of protective varnish on it to give it a richer look and prevent splinters, however, that would have added to the price of this frame.
Does it look a little cheap? Yes, but it was cheap so that isnt really so disappointing. I would say the most disappointed by part is that the headboard is much lower IRL than the pictures lead you to believe. You can hardly see it above the pillows. It is also VERY low to the ground so you want to consider that if you needed to use under bed storage. I can get the slider boxes underneath but its a tight fit. The mattress sliding that people mention in other reviews is easily resolved by just putting a $10 rubber mat that prevents rugs from slipping between the mattress and the base.
After the struggle of putting the frame together, I am very happy with the outcome. The frame is very sturdy and the wood looks amazing. I went with this look to match my desk. Very pleased
If you know how to tighten a screw you can assemble, the foam keeps the bed quiet and there is extra if you do it right for under a couple legs because at least assembling alone there will prob be a little gap under one or two legs that cause it to knock on the floor when you get into or move but that foam cured that as well
This bed frame is really nice and pretty easy to assemble. It took maybe 45 mins to fully assemble it. I took the extra time to make sure it was square and was level before tightening all the bolts. So overall great value for your money, it was easy to assemble, and it is a very sturdy bed frame. 5 out of 5 stars for me. Ill probably be buying another bed for my daughter from this company.
This arrived fast, well packaged, I did not realize there was no real wood but the woodgrain looks very realistic and is more durable than some of those laminate finishes out there. It took me more than an hour to put together alone but I typically take longer. Instructions were simple. Just lots and lots of screws with an Allen wrench! Everything lined up though. No complaints so far my daughter loves it, space for storage baskets underneath. Will update later with any issues.
