    Never again

This took me and my husband 10 hours to put together, no exageration. I like the way that it looks but it isnt very sturdy. I would not buy it again or reccomend it to anyone.

A lot of effort for a little extra storage

This took the better part of my day to put together. The drawers are not very sturdy, so you have to limit their use to clothes or linens. Not strong enough for books or other heavy items. After putting this together, we decided to get an Ikea dresser instead of Prepac. Ikea is sturdier and easier to assemble.

and it looks wonderful along with the Prepac BHHQ-0520-2A Nightstand Headboard

This unit sat lower than what I wanted. We ended up modifying the base to add height to it. We also added a solid plywood sheet on top of the slats before putting a Sleep Number bed on top. The unit is now at the height I wanted, and it looks wonderful along with the Prepac BHHQ-0520-2A Nightstand Headboard, Black, Queen we purchased at the same time. All the electric wires and motor for the sleep number bed are all hidden under the bed, with plenty of room. The drawers won't hold a lot of weight, but they will be adequate for storing extra pillows, sheets and blankets.

This was a gift for my grandson. Perfect for a small room with limited space. Was easy to assemble and very sturdy.

    Great Buy For The Money

This was a great buy for the money. Well packaged with no identified issues. It took me about 3 hours to build this furniture. The instruction are excellent and easy to follow. I did take the time to reinforce the drawer corners with the glue (weakest link) - improve the over structure strength of the drawers.

    Not bad for price

This was a job putting together as everyone warned. Directions kinda stunk and no one seems to use god pics anymore. As many have also said, wherever you place this bed-it stays, theres no moving it without compromiszing the integrity. I plan on getting an additional piece of wood, probably floor sheeting to lay over the wood slats being, even with the right size mattress, you can look right down to the inside of the top drawers and stuff always seems to fall in them! Lastly, the drawers need small pulls i think. You can open them but its awkward without pulls or anything sticking out much. Do not put anything heavy in drawers. just clothes Id buy again if on sale!

    Looks Great

This was a pain to build. The directions were sometimes easy to follow, sometimes not. My son and I took about 4.5 hours to complete the project, we had all the correct tools including a drill for faster screwing. But it was worth it. The end result is a great bed. Smooth operating drawers, sturdy feel under the mattress, not too noisy during extracurricular activities. I had to knock off a star because there are several long pieces of wood that stretch across the frame to create the platform for the mattress, and one of mine was completely rotted out in the package. You can see where someone in the factory tried to cover the rot or maybe save the wood by painting over it but it was clearly beyond saving. This was really the only manufacturer defect I found. Surprisingly, almost every predrilled hole actually lined up, which was a welcome relief.

    Easy to Put Together

This was easy to put together. The directions were clear and all the parts that were supposed to come with it were there. So far it’s holding up well.
