Back of the headrest is just covered by one cloth piece. Recommend it
This is not a wood bed! In the description, it lists the material as “wood.” The entire bed is MDF, and of inferior quality to IKEA. I paid a premium in comparison to the South Shore alternative because in giving the picture of the drawer sides it seems to be all wood. The description should mention MDF!!
This is such a practical solution for a small cottage I had built for visiting friends. Looks great, great storage with the six drawers and I had a queen mattress in storage to complete the bed. And, this looks so much better than beds I have slept in motels. Total winner.
This is the best thing I bought in the last 5 years. Space saver. Great price. Not that easy to set it up, but I did it by myself for the short time. I'm very satisfied.
This is the first twin sized bed that i have slept on since childhood, and was surprised at how comfortable this little guy is! I am not the traditional twin bed user seeing that I am 6'5 and 250lbs... big guy in a little bed... but it is sturdy and good looking and my room is very small...
I only gave the bed 4 out of 5 stars for the simple fact that the materials seem to be a bit cheap. (The price is right for what you get)
The instructions are pretty easy to follow, and says it will take 2-3 hours to assemble. Seeing that there were two of us putting it together and both of us are familiar with assembly and tools I expected that time to be less. It took about 2 hours and 20 min for it to come together to my liking. Thus, I would conclude it would take the lay-person much longer to put it together properly. EASY TO ASSEMBLE, BUT TAKES TIME

this is worth every penny!!! it gives tons of storage space!!!! I got this cuz i moved from a 3 bed ranch to a one bed apt. I want a smaller dresser cuz the room is a lot smaller. and wow does this give the storage space. its WORTH IT it took me and my guy 4 hours to put it together....yea we took a few Arizona Ice tea breaks but, well worth it!
