    Its smaller in real life

It is good but not as big as pictured. It mushes down to much to sit in it as pictured.

A very comfortable chair which immediately became a favorite

The Chili Bag is a good deal like a bean bag chair (though quite a bit heavier). It is soft, comfortable and somewhat supportive. It arrived compressed in a small cube with a zip cover. My son loved watching it inflate, saying that it looked like a pulsating brain. Since it has fully inflated he seldom sits anywhere else. I should, perhaps, rate it 5 stars as he really seems to love it. He even lugged it over to his desk and tried using it as a replacement for his desk chair, which did not work out well, but was humorous to see. I explained that it was for relaxing, a novel concept to my very type A kid. He now uses it as a nest while reading. I think he would probably rate it 5 stars... and I am close. I do not love the color, which is a kind of mushroom brown. He tells me that in the right environment it could look nice. He wants it for his dorm room. Next month he will be doing an overnight at hs top choice college, and we will see if there is room for it, and then. if so, we will have to figure out how to get it there. I do not know whether or not it can be compressed again and it is pretty heavy, not something I relish the idea of shipping. All that said, those are the 2 things which take it down from 5 stars for me: the portability (or relative lack thereof) and the color. No doubt some will like the color more than others, and for many portability will not be an issue. have a kid who is just in love with it who will be going off to college in a few months, so it becomes an issue for us. If I could give it 4.5 stars I would. My son probably would give it a solid 5 stars, but then he does not have to figure out how to move/ ship it. I will add, for those questioning what child/ young adult means, that he is near 6 feet tall, average to slender build and the size is fine for him. When fully expanded the chair is roughly 3-4 feet in diameter (and, being memory foam, the size/ shape will change with use). My son really loves it. I would recommend it to others, the main downside being the weight. It is not quite as portable as a real bean bag, but then (as my son pointed out) it is not a mess if it springs a leak.

    Giant sack of squish

Filled out within a day after I pulled filling apart by hand without opening liner. My kid loves it - I can sit in it, but at about 190lbs I kind of squish it too much. Foam seems a bit lumpy - I think its ground-up remnants because some bits feel like they have a plastic covering on them - but I assume this is the norm for these things. Anyway, kid likes it, all is well.

Overall fair, but could be improved!

Overall fair. Pros: The blue is a nice color (it looks great) Nice cover material Just the right size Fairly comfortable Not noisy Cons: Getting padding out of zippered bag. (Our first frustration was trying to get the compressed stuffing out of the zippered bag. The outer bag was so tight and could not be unzipped because the zipper kept getting caught in the padding plastic cover. We finally had to cut off the outer bag with a knife as we could not unzip it.) Padding never expanded adequately even after 4 days and repeated fluffling. There is barely enough padding to support our tween daughter who is thin and average height. .
