Ordered for my daughters new room and I was worried because there were no reviews on . Checked other websites for Reviews and absolutely no pictures of the teal color. Arrived today and its BEAUTIFUL! The color is a little darker and more teal than the photos on - but I was not disappointed. Assembly was a breeze and it houses a 12 mattress with plenty of headboard left over!
Overall Id say this is a decent daybed. The upholstery is pretty as long as you dont look TOO close. It was easy to assemble with straight forward instructions, I was able to do it in a few hours by myself (my husband helped with an extra set of hands to get the pieces together but it really wasnt needed.) where I have issue is the bed slates…they are subpar material, very splintery and started breaking within 48 hours…the first one snapped when I kneeled on the edge of the bed to reach something. There appears to be no way to contact the company or get them replaced without figuring out how to send the whole thing back. SO overall a nice bed BUT be willing to shell out more money for proper slats!
Overall, I think the quality of the bed matches the price. I’m disappointed that the color is veryyyy much light teal and not the beautiful shade shown in the listing. Too much trouble to send back, so I’ll just have to figure out how to make the real work. I like the style of the bed enough to give it a try.
Product is fairly well constructed. The only issue was the front upholstered rail for the bottom trundle was a little warped..so when I push bed under one side sticks out a little then the other. Overall it is a nice looking piece .
So far, so good. I got this bed about a week ago but just put it together today. All the pieces arrived in tact, including all the hardware. Other than the box being a little banged up, the contents were all in great shape. It took me about an hour and a half to built but it wasn't that difficult if you know how to follow instructions. It looks good in my spare bedroom however it is a bit bigger than I anticipated. It's super comfy and great for relaxation. I decided not to put a twin bed at the bottom and used it for storage instead. I'm roughly 150 lbs and the slats hold me just fine.
So, the instructions on putting it together were a little tough to figure out since the parts did not come labeled. However looking at the pictures listed made it easier to figure out. Over all it was incredibly easy to put together and is very sturdy. It’s a very beautiful bed frame and is made of quality material. True to size and color.
The bed came in two boxes, very heavy. One of the boxes was damaged, but not the bed inside. We were lucky, but they could have avoided any damage with another piece of cardboard to protect the upholstery. They bed had all the pieces and extra screws if needed. We did need two. They give you the tools to put it together so that is great, but I am not sure where those tools will be when it comes time to move the bed and we have to take it apart. Now that I am thinking of it maybe I will tape it some where under the bed so I will always know where those tools are. The bed is one of the few with a fully finished back, so if you want the couch floating you can do it. The biggest advice I can give is don't tighten any of the screws fully until every part of the main bed is together, because you will have to loosen them back up to get things to fit. It is not a problem if you have to loosen them, its just for convenience. It took us about 2.5 hours to put it together, but we are not skilled at that.
If you have someone who is very handy it will be shorter. We purchased an 8 inch mattress for the top and had about 2 inches of couch arms above the mattress. If you get over 8 inches the mattress will be flush with the couch arms. You really can't buy anything larger for the trundle mattress than 6 inches. It is hard to get a 6 inch mattress that will be super comfortable with continued use. If its just a guest bed that will be fine. We purchase the Zinus 6 Inch Green Tea Memory Foam Mattress from and it was good so far. They color is a medium to dark grey color which changes with lighting and knap. It is a very luxurious feeling velour. Comfortable and soft fabric. It is a beautiful bed. We didn't have any problems so I can't tell you anything about their customer service, but we felt that would take care of us if we had problems.
The blue velvet is just lovely. Looks so beautiful. I don't like that a 10" mattress on top hides the arms.. I want a nice mateess and all of the 8" didn't feel great (to me). I opted for 10". Lol, I'm dreading adding a 6" inch to the bottom but I also don't want a thicker one that would make the bed higher...the bed height is perfect.

Great daybed for guest room that doesn't look "cheap"
