Best value for space, quality, and money!

I ended up ordering a second one after seeing how well this bed worked out for my two teenage boys. We love these beds! After a complete failure with a new IKEA bed, I had to accept that we've outgrown the cheap furniture and it was time to invest in something that could handle adult weight with kid activity. I love the storage stairway option since we have very limited space, and the kids don't like climbing ladders now that they're older. This bed is comfortable, sturdy, airy, and the fresh wood smell that lingers for months afterwards is a major plus! I opted not to use the trundles (I needed the slats for extra reinforcement of the upper bunks), so we also have about 12 of space underneath, allowing us to store a lot of stuff and access it easily. Putting the beds together was hard work and frustrating at times, but well worth the effort.

Beautiful and huge, likely will have broken pieces

Will write additional/update review after a few months. Beautiful looking bed! The color is fantastic, the wood is gorgeous, but because it is pinewood it is more likely to break. That's just the nature of the wood. Top bunk and the trundle perfectly fit a Twin Mattress, and the Full size bed we had fit snugly into the bottom bunk. Most of the pieces came without blemish. There were a few that had dings or little indents but they aren't deal breakers for a person like me. There were 2 quite important pieces that both broke in the process of delivery. I wish would write Fragile on these boxes due to the ease of breaking (as mentioned before). My husband works for UPS so I know that if it says fragile they do try to be more careful. I will write about my return process after the bed setup process. We got the actual bunkbed up with 2 people in about 4 hours total (not including the staircase). Not the easiest but not terrible. We weren't able to put up the staircase as 2 very important pieces broke. Still waiting on the replacement pieces to build the staircase. This bunkbed is huge!! Will look much better in a larger room but is fantastic even in a smaller room you just won't have too much space left over. Our kids room is a decent size for a smaller home so there's still a little more than half the room to play or move around in but it definitely is big! We checked the instructions to return the pieces and get a replacement as we saw others mention they got their replacement pieces within a week of requesting it. Well I sent those 2 pieces back via UPS the same week and checked the tracker. Tracker said it arrived to the Arizona Amizon location just a few days later, March 27th. I waited and waited for something to happen or to just get the pieces but I only saw that it said we are waiting on your return I finally called 2 weeks later and the guy said to wait 2 more weeks... flustered and irritated I waited as asked. Nothing happened. The remark waiting for your return still showed. I even waited an extra week just in case but nothing. So I finally called again yesterday and it wasn't until I got upset over the phone (I tried to be very polite and understanding at first but the lady kept asking dumb questions) that they finally got me to the department in charge of large packages that they the guy simply said I'm sending your replacement today at no extra charge. Is there anything else I can do for you? I'm sorry but why would you charge me for something that you already got back???? Anyway it's in the mail now. Should arrive in a couple more days, and they are still asking me to send a return. So I'm sending back the box with the printed proof of the return of the original pieces inside. Haha I hope they like that. Other than dealing with the replacement we LOVE this huge piece of furniture!!

Our girls LOVE their new bed!

This was an awesome purchase! This bed is really big so it will most likely take up a good chunk of your kids room. Our room is 14x12 and there is plenty of space left. It did take all afternoon to put it together, however the instructions were very straight forward so no complaints there. We love it!!! Likes: ❣️Solid wood ❣️Stairs are safe for younger ones ❣️Stairs are easier on feet than traditional ladder ❣️Easy Instructions ❣️Tons of storage space Dislikes Took 6 hours to put together I wish the screws were capped in white and not silver everywhere.

Can be assembled with one person but wouldn't recommend for the sake your body muscles

Bought this bed for my son's bedroom and although I waited a month after the bed arrived to assemble this bad boy. I managed to put it together by myself (superwoman I know). The bed came in six boxes and somehow I managed to open all of the boxes out of order ♀️. But anywho I assembled the staircase first and then the rest of the bed while my brat decided playing his tablet was more important than helping..ok moving back to the review...noticed that some of the wood pieces were jacked up a little where the wood was damaged and shedding wood pieces..but since those pieces were part of the staircase drawers and could be hidden I wasnt sweating it. Just made sure I vacuumed throughout the mission impossible task....But overall my brat loves it and that's all that matters.

Great quality, Kids love it, Strong smell after assembly

The quality of this bed is really good. It is very heavy so perfect for my 6yr old twin girls. The assembly of the bed was a lot of work. It took the man doing the assembly 5 hours to put together (will write my review on the bed assembly service) and we were glad that we paid the extra money to have someone come in and put it together.. The bed is very large so it takes up a good portion of their room. I did the measurements but using a tape measure and having the actual bed in the room is very different. We moved around some furniture and it looks a lot better.. I took off one star due to the odor of the bed. When I was reading the reviews I didn't see anything on the odor so wanted to be sure to include that in mine. Their is strong chemical odor emanating from the bed. We closed off their room for a few days now with all windows open trying to get rid of the smell and still pretty strong. I really hope it doesn't last long because the girls really want to sleep in their new bed but until the smell is gone I don't want them inhaling those fumes. Is there anyone who had this problem or someone from the company who can tell me if and when this odor will dissipate?.

got this for our daughter's room and it looks great. Made of solid wood

We got this for our daughter's room and it looks great. Made of solid wood, this bunk bed came in 6 boxes and quite heavy. The instruction were pretty easy to follow but took a while to built since I have to do it all by myself, if you have two people, it should go a lot faster. I like that all the parts are labels and all the screws and nails are also labeled. There were a part of the drawer that came broken, but an email to them was replied promptly and the replacement part was received within 4 days. Just a fyi, in step number 9, make sure you note the orientation of the center support holes in the upper cross bars in the upper bunk bed, so that they all face the outside of the bed for the center support bar to be attached. When I did it, one was facing inside and the other faced outside, so I had to create my own screw hole to attach the center support bar. You should also put furniture pads on the support legs before the bed is finish if you need to move it later. My daughter loves her new bed and the steps to the upper bunk is so much easier to climb than a ladder. Even though she can't use the upper bunk yet until she is 6, she loves playing on it while under our supervision. We love how much storage this bunk bed has, beside the 4 drawers in the stairway, there are also 3 slots on the side for more storage space.
