We got this cage for our ferret. Its great and our ferret loves it. Plenty of room for a small corner liter box. Assembly was easy actually my 14 year old child put it together. The pullout drawer on the bottom is perfect to keep her grooming items and toys in. The only issue we have is the stairs she slides a little on them which is adorable but she really has no problem using them.
This was great fun for the bunny. Sometimes she can bounce around hard enought to make one of the tiers fall down.
For easy cleaning dailyu the tray is wonderful. But urin needs to be washed off plastics, just like a litter box fro cats.
I fell this was a great buy for th rabbit.
This is perfect for our Netherland Dwarf bunny. His cage is in the living room and the upper shelf allows him to look out the window so he can get natural light. We have a small house and also appreciate the small footprint of this cage without being too cramped for him.
I love the ramp door at the bottom so he can get in and out on his own. Theres a middle door and a door on top, so its easy to access all the areas in the cage. Super easy to assemble and very sturdy and easy to clean. He usually runs around the house when were home, but stays in his cage while were at work and at night. We love it and think he does too.
I love the cage it is very nice easy to assemble and easy to clean i just dislike how small it really is for 2 ferrets its just not ideal its too small for my two ferrets will be returning
I so far love the cage! It moves around with ease! I can roll my bunny into any room Im working in and have him by me with out worrying that he is up to mischief! If I could change anything, it would be added grip on the stairs and a grated door vs plastic, for ease of the rabbit trying to navigate up and down it. Like one of the other reviews I read, my rabbit took quite a while to learn how to navigate up such slippery surfaces but eventually figured out more of a leap motion not relying on the stairs much, he now goes to all the levels with ease about 2/3 weeks after purchase.
I also modified the tray a little, it was leaking urine into the compartment under the waste tray. I took a heavy duty black trash bag and covered the tray, cutting the excess bag off and stapling the front of the tray where I folded over the edge, this solved the problem, as well as no corrosive damage and nasty residue on the tray from pee. I have hosed off the plastic covered bag each time I changed out the litter and have been using the same bag since I bought it a month ago. The residue just doesnt build up on the slick plastic bag.
I also added carpet strips to the shelf levels so 1. he wouldnt slip 2. it would be more cozy to sleep on.
I understand this is supposed to be a bunny cage but I figured rabbits obviously hop so its gotta he sturdy enough for a ferret right? Its still standing so obviously thats a good sign but when I first pulled it out of the box I was a bit concerned. Its really thin and doesnt seem very reliable or sturdy. I guess only time will tell at this point
