Well made just what I was looking for!This took a bit more muscle than expected to assemble / it is not a one person job. In fact there was one screw that just wouldnt go in, so we had to leave it out. That said, the piece is sturdy and looks very good. My suggestion would be to opt for the pre/assembly.
I want to start off by stating that I give this set 3 stars right off the bat for the table. Its sturdy, well made, easy to assemble, and looks great.
However, I give it zero additional stars for the chairs. They have serious quality control issues. They are a pain to put together. 3 of the 4 chairs I received have very noticeably uneven legs. 1 chair came with a deep gouge through the outer layer and into the wood. And worse yet, the wood base in the seat cushions is mishapen and not flat, making it sometimes impossible to attach the cushions fully to the chair because the base doesnt make full contact with the frame. One of the cushions in particular is so warped that I can only screw the front of the cushion down and not the sides, because the sides are curved away from the frame of the chair like an archway. Out of the four chairs, I was only able to fully attach one cushion with all six wood screws, as the other 3 cushions were too warped to make full contact at all six points.Horrible to put together
One of the chair pieces snapped while tightening the nut. Another chair didnt have the holes pre/drilled, so I had to drill my own holes. Otherwise, table is pretty sturdy.To small for the price.
This table is pretty and not too hard to put together. But definitely not worth over 700. Maybe at 400 but the chairs are so flimsy and also they ask wobble. We put them together perfectly but the legs are off balance. I understand prices are up for everything but this is still overpriced, I expected more quality.Its not as sturdy as I would have like.
One of my best buys.The first set we ordered was damaged so we returned it (very easy process) and reordered another. This is a lovely dinette and fits nicely in our small kitchen area. Love the height and chairs are sturdy and comfortable. It has a beautiful cherry wood finish. My husband assembled the entire set in about an hour after reading the instructions and inventorying the parts. Highly recommend this beautiful pub set.

Watch who uses to ship this. As you can see from my photos, it would appear that the entire box was ripped apart in shipping. All the parts were scrambled from them tossing them back inside the box. Which confuses me, they used enough tape to strap the box together, why bother with the box?
I was able to glue the broken center brace together. Just a cosmetic portion of the brace,
but still.
I shouldnt have allowed a porch drop for this.
The shipper was Non Stop Delivery (NSD) Which is funny. They make you choose a future delivery day, and you watch as your package makes it to your city one week prior to delivery, and it then sits in limbo until the date. Yeah, Non Stop.
This is the second shipment from NSD Ive had, and both were damaged in shipping. If you order this table, ensure that NSD does not take delivery.
Any order I have in the future, that I see NSD will take delivery, I will immediately cancel.
I love the table though. Shame the chairs and table are scuffed. Its beautiful.
Sturdy.OK, Ive never purchased a dining room table thats all wood and upon initial inspection has NOT ONE SCRATCH OR IMPERFECTION! Im in the process of putting it all together so Ill add to this upon completion.
