We upgraded our 7 year old from a small loft bed to this she absolutely loves it! We have carpet the trundle rolls great on it. It was not hard to put together either. The only thing is that I wish we were sent some white stickers to cover the screws on the top of the headboard footboard. I didn't notice them right away in the picture, but it would not have changed my decision on purchasing the bed. The bed is very sturdy everything came packaged great!
Solid platform bed. Hold weight well. Mattress fits well inside of the raised portion of the bed. We added rails around it to keep her from tumbling out.
Our daughter is 2 and she needs a step stool to get up into the bed but no big deal.
I just recently purchased this for our 2 1/2 year old transitioning from a crib. We got the headboard bookcase to go with it as well. The bed is very sturdy. The one complaint I have is that the drawers are not actually rolling and they are just pulled out and move about a lot more since they literally lay on the floor.
This is a great bedframe in the drawers are rather large Making it great for storage as well. My only gripe was putting it together. The amount of screws that had to be hand turn was just straight torture.
THE BOX IS SUPER DUPER HEAVY first of all. It took two men to bring it up the stairs for me and into my room. Other than that I was able to assemble it and everything on my own. My bed fits perfect and the drawers on the bottom are awesome. The roll on the floor so that leaves empty storage space on the other side of the bed.
