It does come with a ton of pieces si if you're not in a rush pay for the expert assembly, you or your husband will be thankful. Other than the pain in the rear to assemble and that it came scratched and we needed the bed built so we just kept it.

I love everything about this bed but the storage. I was sad to see the drawers only went half way across the bed. I feel like the other half is a complete waste of space. Would be better if the drawers were longer.
I got it in way before the shipping date so that was a big surprise. The packageing was damaged, and one drawer was slightly damaged. Wood glue is a must, other then that it was easy to put together, and seems like it will hold up for a few a year's. I got this for my 9 uear old son , and he loves it so far, but you really get what you pay for. It's all compressed partical board, and the inside of the drawers won't hold anything to heavy, as it's pretty much that cheap backing you put on the back of bookshelves.
We purchase this bed so we can reinforce and cut to fit in an under stair way nook. It looks good and with a lot of reinforcement is now a very strong/sturdy daybed able to hold a 300 lb person. All the materials came intact. The directions were easy to follow. We are happy with our purchase.
Its perfect, but it takes more than one person to lift this up. The box is VERY HEAVY. It also took me a while to put together so make sure you have a full day to set it up. Dresser drawers arent what I expected as they just slide on the floor in and out of the frame. It was a very affordable frame.
We bought two of this, fortunately no parts are missing. We were able to assemble it without challenge. Love it because the surface of the bed are supported by three big sections of flat wood, no gaps in between. We use Japanese mattress, therefore, to have no gap underneath the mattress is important. Dont like slate type because the gap between each slate cant support the Japanese mattress. If you like the surface entirely sealed and extra firm, you might like this one.
