Its a beautiful bed. But some of the holes werent drilled correctly for assembly. We had to redrill some of them. Also two weeks in, and the middle support just broke. I will call and see if I can get replacement parts. There was no reason it should have broken.
I noticed some of the other reviewers received damaged items. Mine came packed really well, and zero damage. No scratching during assembly either. Im 54, female and have zero experience doing furniture assembly, and I was able to put it together really easily. Instructions were very clear.
So far the bed seems really solid and sturdy. I stepped on the sides and jumped on the bed and it doesnt even really creak. Im guessing a handful of people got duds, but Ill update if I have any issues.
Its also really beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. Awesome value for the money, especially for solid wood. Pictures are accurate and the color is exactly as displayed (I got the chocolate).

I want to address the smells people are tal about with this bed. GUESS WHAT? That smell is actually wood! This is a cute bed, sturdy and cheap. We love it.
The bed frame looks great, and was pretty easy to set up. We noticed very quickly though that it creaks quite a bit and the side of the frame split after only the first month of use. Im only 190lbs and I sat up on the edge of the bed and it cracked. Ive been trying to find a way to contact the seller but they dont have any information on how to contact them which leads me to believe they dont want to deal with dissatisfied customers. Not a very good look for them. I would love to get more info on the warranty the offer but none is available

This was the easiest piece of furniture I have ever built! It is beautifully made and so sturdy! We are extremly happy with this bed!
