There were a couple pieces missing, not that important and we can easily pick up from the hardware store down the street. (We have been so busy and had bought this over a month prior to actually setting it up so we really havent tried to get the peices replaced so thats not on the seller, thats on us.) But my son LOVES his bed. He was scared at first, hes never slept in any sort of bunk bed, but now, he loves it and even sets up his own little reading area under it.
First of all, plan the entire day to assemble this. Also, if you bought this because you don't have room for anything bigger, then spend a few minutes thinking about how you will get it all screwed together. It's easiest if you can walk all the way around the outside during assembly, but we were working in tight quarters.
The finished product is too short for an adult or teenager to sit under (on the floor) comfortably.
You might also find it useful to know that it comes in three boxes. The long box (7 feet 2 inches) has the bed parts. The flattest box (it looks like it might contain a really big framed picture) has the desk and the short bookshelf. The most normal of them all contains the dresser. You can assemble the dresser all by itself, without opening the other two boxes. But the other two are related, because the desk can't stand up by itself, and as other reviewers have mentioned, you have to put the desk in before you screw down the bed slats on that side of the bed. Each box weighs 60 or 70 pounds, adding up to about 200 pounds total. The long box needs a pickup truck if you have to drive it home from your shipping address. The other two will fit inside a minivan or station wagon.
Here's the main disappointment: Before assembling the dresser (which we did first), we swept the hardwood floor to make sure it was clean. But halfway through, we realized that the espresso paint had been scratched in multiple places just by gently sliding pieces across the clean floor. While there were a few pieces with small dings right out of the box (in places that turned out not to be visible when it was assembled), I'm pretty sure those scratches weren't there when we opened the box. So before doing the rest, we swept and damp-mopped the floor, plus we put down a soft cloth. This worked better, but it still wasn't good enough. The front corner of the desk top ended up with a couple of deep scratches. s seems to market this primarily for little kids, so it was surprising that they used such a fragile paint. Maybe the other colors have a harder finish.
Delivery took longer than expected but it turned out wonderful. I hired to put it together because I wasnt about that life! It came in3 boxes and took them 4hrs for 1 person to put it together. Yeah not about that life! My son loves it! Great purchase
Easy to assemble, clear instructions, and great quality. Absolutely love it! I was worried it would be more of a little preschooler bed but it's great for my 8yr old, and has plenty of room for her to grow with it. The desk is a great size.
I love this, it was prefect for what I was looking for. Best to have two people assemble but the instructions and organization of the hardware was great. It was as easy as I think it could be to assemble for what the product is. Perfect to save space in a small room and great quality for the price. It arrives in 3 boxes and came a few days a pet from each other but that wasnt a big deal.
Came together fine. Shipment came quickly. But you need to be careful! We have several screws strip while screwing them in. A couple of pieces cracked while putting the together. It looks awesome and my daughter loves it, just not as durable as one would hope for childrens furniture.
Directions weren't always super clear and I had to build and rebuild a few steps to get it right. The bed frame is sturdy but the dresser and bookshelf is made our of cheap wood. It splintered with every screw I put in. I don't think it'll last more than a few years.

Espresso finish scratches easily

So far so good
Comfy, mostly easy to assemble . Do not use drill. Just hand tools.
Perfect, very happy!
It was perfect!!! Better than expected
Would recommend
It was a little tricky to put together, we did it in stages. Bought this for my granddaughter. It's a very sturdy bed. She loves it.

Looks good but not very durable

Bed is sturdy. Bookshelf and dresser are not.
