The good, the bad, and the AWESOME

First the bad: I only have two complaints about this product, both of which were relatively minor issues for me but may be a dealbreaker for some people. Our USPS carrier could not deliver the box to our house because at 61 inches it was too long to fit in the truck; we had to go over to the post office and pick it up at the counter. It is a bit , so any purchasers should plan for this possibility. The other issue is that the corners where the legs meet the edge of the frame are SHARP and at the perfect height to cause some real shin pain. Rounded corner frames exist but not for the height. We easily and quickly solved this problem using some ingenious pre/spiral/cut foam noodles (sold on as foam protection wrap) that we wrapped around the legs and corners. On to the good things about this bed. It was very easy to put together with two people (harder to get the screws lined up with only one person) taking less than 20 minutes total. We did use a rubber mallet to get the metal bed into place. I recommend buying felt pads to place on the bottom of the legs before putting the frame together. Once we got our mattress on top it was so tall (29 with our 12 inch thick mattress; remember that the mattress sits slightly lower than the 18 top of the side rails) that I have to slide off the top slightly to get my feet onto the floor (I am 54). At first I thought I would hate that, but the very first morning I realized that it is AWESOME to not have to start my day pressing up from a sit to a stand (squats can wait for my workout!) We can now get so many boxes and plastic bins under the bed for easy storage, I absolutely love it. The bed itself is VERY sturdy (wink, nudge) and does not squeak at all. The slightly depressed level of the metal compared to the side rails does a great job of keeping the mattress in place rather than sliding off the platform. Our mattress is still very well supported by the metal alone so I dont miss our boxspring. I absolutely LOVE this bed frame, plus it was so reasonably priced.

This bed frame makes my bed look regal?

Its high enough to store bins under and the height gives the bed a different look.

    Great for under bed storage

We live in a studio apartment and the old bed was 4 inches off the floor plus box spring and matress. The frame is solid yet light weight and it eliminates the old box spring replacing it with room for storage.

    Better nights sleep

Easy to assemble and sturdy. Better than our old box spring. Tall enough for a medium sized dog to lay underneath.

    Excellent solution

Easy to assemble. Good height for taller people and allows for a ton of storage underneath

    Great storage

I brought the bed for storage which its great for that. Its been a month and it already makes noise on the side were the middle legs slides from underneath the bed. You have to keep pushing it back so I do feel like its going to last long.

    Love it

Super easy to put together, did it by myself in minutes and sturdy. You can fit a good number of plastic storage bins under it too

    Sturdy and tall with boxspring

I dont like that the headboard isnt tall or long enough, my pilllows cover it laying flat down. I do like how tall the actual frame is from the floor ( I have my box spring on as well). All in all its a good frame, nice and sturdy.
