    awesome!

this bed is a great bed for our four year old. he has out grown his toddler bed and this bed is so perfect for his big boy room. it is clean cut, neatly organized material. the bed went together easily between my husband and i. i am glad he was home because i would not have been able to get the box in the house after delivery. it is really heavy but looks great after we got it together.

Much better the 2nd time around!!

I bought this bed for my 4 year old and she absolutely loves it! The drawers are spacious and slide very easy. I put it together myself in about an hour. This is 2nd time I ordered this bed because the first time it came damaged. I wasn't really happy about it the first time so I sent it back and looked around for other beds. I kept coming back to this one and I'm glad I did! I was happy to see that they now added extra packaging so the corners don't get all busted up in shipping (it's 129 lbs shipping weight, it's likely to be man handled). Although two of the panels came cracked, I gave 5 stars because overall I'm very satisfied with the purchase and customer service was a breeze. I called customer service and they were very quick and efficient in getting replacement parts sent to me. Definitely a good deal!

    Really Pretty

I would rate this a 3.5-4. It is a really pretty bed when put together however it takes a good 2-3 hours to assemble if you have a know how to assemble this kind of thing. It looks like it would scratch easily, thus the pain pen included. It is made of pressed wood so it wont be oober durable, but you get what you pay for. For a toddler/young boy this is a great find. I love the way it looks in his room and dosent take up much room and doubles as a dresser, PERFECT. I bought two and have not put the second together but will soon. Two of the pieces arrived cracked as other people have said, but a little wood glue and clamps fixed them (thats assuming you have access to those) Overall i'm glad I bought it.

Fuctional, Will Work, but Has a few Flaws

The item I reviewed had two missing parts for constructing the bed, and I think the build quality is good but has a few flaws. See video for more details. At this point, I do recommend the bed for a 4-year-old use. If something changes, I will update it on here.

    Great bargain.

My son has been using this bed for over three years without any problems. I think it was great bargain.

    Great bed!

I bought this bed before I started my second year of college (owner for 3 years). The vendor shipped for free to my apartment and it arrived on time. The assembly was a pain, and it took probably 2-3 hours to completely put together. The bed itself is not very sturdy, but it has withstood 3 move-in and move-outs during my time switching apartments. The drawers are not as deep as you would like, but they do store a significant amount of clothing. I am able to keep 12 adult hoodies in one of the drawers. The biggest downside is the handles; they are very sharp and can seriously injure you if you're not careful. My advice is to change them as soon as you can. I never did, mostly because I'm a lazy college student but I haven't had too much trouble with the handles. I would not advise this bed for anyone taller than 5'10''.

    Nice bed, but painful assembly

Nice bed. Pain to put it together, but these types of furniture usually are. only complaint are the square nobs. My son scratches his legs on them every so often. also make sure to have atleast two people to move the box. it's heavy. All in all, nice bed for the price

Best kid's bed. Low profile and footprint.

This bed was so good for our daughter that two years later, we bought one for our son. Overall, great quality for the price. I will say, that you will want to replace the drawer handles since they are very sharp. When the kids slide off the bed, they will eventually scrape themselves on the handles. What we did for our daughter, was put foam around the handles. When we bought our second one, i just went out to ace hardware and bought some new handles. Couldn't find any that would fit in the existing holes so drilled some new ones and bought some wood filler form a squeeze bottle. There is a matching paint stain marker that comes with the bed, so i stained the wood filler and no one notices. Bed does take awhile to put together, but anyone can do it. Just give yourself 3 hours of time. We love both the beds and the first one after 2.5 years is holding up great and we get plenty of compliments on the look of the bed. The espresso color allows you to buy some very colorful bed spreads that just pop. The drawers have tons of space and move freely in and out.

    Great for the price

Overall, I am quite satisfied with this bed: my son has used it for over 4 years and it held up during 2 major out-of-state moves. The additional storage is a sufficient enough for storing anything from small toys to clothing and bedding. I've also purchased the bookshelf headboard that provided more space for additional toys and books as well as a night lamp. There were small chips on the corners after couple of years of wear and tear, but I must say that it held up pretty well. PLEASE NOTE: if you are looking for a high end quality bed - this might not be one for you, but if you are not willing to spend a thousand dollars on a twin bed - this is a good option: sleek, has tons of storage, color is close to the photo, and at A GREAT PRICE.
