I read a lot a different reviews on this cabinet and was very apprehensive about placing the ordering. Upon arrival of the item
through UPS I immediately opened the box and found everything very safely packaged. It took me several hours to assemble it, because I was doing it by myself. The directions were easy to follow. I guess I was lucky, there was not one scratch on it anywhere. The cabinet itself is quite sturdy. It only came with two shelves so I added two additional shelves and that made it perfect for us and it also looks great and matches the rest of the new furniture.
You get what you pay for and is this the highest quality in furniture you can get. No, but for its price, it is very good. My box arrived in terrible condition and some damage to parts. I called and directly and both were excellent in resolving the situation. I also learned from that there is a 5 year warranty on their pieces. I had a damaged item and they immediately (and very courteously) set about fixing the problem by sending out replacement pieces. Both and s customer service was excellent, so it takes the fear out of purchasing online from these companies. I cant wait to order my next piece from them!
As for the item itself, I am very satisfied with its beauty and construction. It took us about 2 hours to build and the instructions were good. Just need to take the time to read them and understand them. The doors are a bit tricky to align but with some tweaking of the screws, it can be done. I love my new storage cabinet and the color is aming.
I did read reviews first, so I wasnt surprised when some boards were scratched. The box arrived in horrible condition. Make sure you have enough room when putting together. You definitely need two people. The two back pieces were cracked. Instructions were a bit confusing at first. Took about two hours. For the money I paid and the time to put together, it was eventually worth it. I dont have much indoor storage so this was nice to have to hide items like craft supplies, a few household tools and the like. It is also pretty deep, so was able to fit some of my plastic stacking drawers in there. I am more organized, looks nice in living room. Very heavy
I really like the cabinet except for the back. The back is cheesy because it is made with cardboard and from experience those type of backs never last very long.

The pair of cabinets arrived as indicated following order. The color was what I expected. My son and friend put both together within 2 1/2 hours and I was the proud owner of this beautiful additional storage. I am using them in the family room for overflow storage from the kitchen / large pots, cake stands, small appliances and even often used sm tools.
I believe for the price, I cut my costs by over 1/2. Try using a carpenter to build and compare the cost!
The only negative was that the instructions are not as good as they could have been. You need to know what you are doing.
Although the cabinet is very heavy, we like it a lot. It took my husband two hours to put it together. Which I thought was a fair amount of time. It is a handsome piece of furniture

I returned the first one because it had been dropped sometime in the shipping process and quickly had it picked up for return. Great for them and their no hassle return policy. Second one came in with gouges in visible exterior panels. I kept it and with the touch up pen it doesnt look tooo bad. It is a bit big and bulky for shipping, but then the shipping price isnt that bad.
The item itself works well for storage and its not put in an area where I have company.
We purchased this for storage in our very small kitchen, if you like the country feel then this is the right Cabinet for you. Be prepared to take some time to put this together, it is very easy, it just takes time and patience, the hardest part was figuring out where to begin, once we figured out what was the front and bottom it was smooth sailing. For the price its a nice piece of furniture. If you are expecting hard solid wood then spend this is a great purchase for the money and looks great.
