I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this set. The seat is very firm supportive. It was really easy to assemble. This accent chair tied my office together I enjoy sitting here to read. This would not be an ideal chair for long hours at a desk. The back support is too low for that, in my opinion.

Directions: some reviews suggest the instructions are hard to follow. I had no issue with it personally. I had it together in roughly an hour. That said, there are some tight spaces that are more difficult to secure. But you will have that with any chair.

Overall, I am very happy with the chair and am sitting in it as I type it. Your opinion on the chair is going to depend on what you are looking for. I dont need a chair to be super soft. I bought this recliner in brown two years ago and it still looks and works like new! I use it every day / its my go/to chair for reading.
Since the foot rest is a separate piece I can adjust it to suit. When Im reclining waaay back I can move it farther away from the chair to stretch out or pull it closer to prop my feet up and bend my knees.
I especially like it because its sturdy, well/made and really comfortable. It also doesnt take up as much room as a standard recliner. It fits well into my 10 x 11 guest room that includes a full size bed, a dresser and 5/drawer chest without feeling crowded.
Its the perfect size for me /56 / 145 lbs and as much as I love my pets theres no room for them next to me. I get the whole seat all to myself, though they end up on my lap instead! LOL!

Super easy to assemble, just hand screwing the legs in! So soft, comfortable, firm. Gotten many compliments on it. Lovely size and color is true to the pictures. My dog doesnt get on it, but some fur does get on it but its super easy to just brush off!
This chair is so cute and its quite comfortable. It does hit fairly low on the back, so that is something to keep in mind. Assembly consists merely of screwing in the legs and the chair once assembled feels quite sturdy. Overall an excellent addition to my living room
