Great for small spaces

Took my husband and I a while to put it up, but simple and easy to understand instructions. Love having the space underneath. I didnt use the bottom parts for the storage as it takes another 2/3 inches of height from the space shock I wanted to use. Like everyone else, Id like the headboard a little bigger, but I really like this bed, and its functionality.

Looks great, well see how long it lasts.

I got this last year, but due to the pandemic / delays in shipping, I was supposed to move and it got cancelled then I bought a house after move fell through. Winter had flooding in yard. Anyway its been a long year. I assembled it myself in about 4ish hours with 3 breaks. One for my back, another from frustration and the last to let my dog out. Overall its a pretty piece of furniture. The slats I am weary of. They are slim and hook in with plastic pieces. Im a larger lady and come with a hybrid foam/spring mattress. While I type this Im am on it. But essentially we will see how long everything holds up. I will update in a year or if it breaks. Whichever comes first. (July 8, 2022 is assembly day)

Great Looking, Functional and Easy to Assemble!

Relatively easy to assemble, instructions were very clear / just allow a couple hours to get it done. All parts clearly labeled and everything lined up/fit together without too much hassle. I had a helper and it still took about 2 1/2 hours. Great looking and feels sturdy / lift mechanism works as advertised. Lots of storage for extra blankets, pillows, sweaters and other not/too/big/or/heavy items. Originally I was sent the wrong color but one call was all it took to arrange pickup of the wrong bed and redelivery of the right one a few days later. It was between this and another lift/bed on that looked almost identical (but was cheaper.) I opted for this slightly more expensive one as it looked a bit more sturdy (for example the headboard is one solid piece, not propped up on little legs) and had overall better reviews. So far Im very pleased with my purchase!

Sturdy platform bed for the money

After shopping for a platform bed with underneath storage we decided on this one. We werent disappointed. It seems very strong, well designed and not at all cheap looking. The parts fit together well, but the instructions are not as clear as they could be. The drawings are excellent but its not always clear which end of the bed frame youre looking at, or whether it might be a bottom or top view. This caused us a few do/overs during the assembly process. We ended up putting most of the thing together loosely before tightening all the screws and bolts. The bed came with an Allen wrench to put it together. Youll need something more substantial or it will take you forever. Fortunately, the machine screws are not Phillips head screws but are Robertson screws or square drive or socket head screws. It would be hard, but maybe not impossible for one person to put the bed together. It comes in two boxes and once assembled the entire platform is pretty heavy and is not moveable as one piece. So assemble it where you intend it to reside. To move it in the future will require a substantial disassembly. There is more storage available underneath the raised mattress than we expected. Your underneath storage stuff does not just lay on your floor under the bed. The bed has its own internal flooring that keeps your stuff up off your bedroom floor. We put a 14 inch thick foam mattress on it and the top surface of the mattress is about 27 inches above the floor which should be fine for most people. However, if you require a higher bed surface, the directions say it cannot be placed on risers.

Flimsy

The bed looks very nice and has a lot of storage underneath. Easy to put together. Extremely difficult to open and close. Also the planks are worthless if you weigh over 100lbs. I am 115 and knelt onto my bed and the plank broke. I have broken three already.seems very difficult to replace as they slide into a plastic piece that clips in.

Exceeded expectations in every way!

I was so impressed; this bed has exceeded all my expectations! High quality materials, easy to build (2 people, about 1.5 hrs at a careful pace), organized step/by/step process so much better than IKEA and half the items on Wayfair. The joints and structural parts are all thick/gauge metal. The screws and hardware have both the female and male parts, all metal, no wooden dowels, no trying to pierce holes in random places. Everything lined up properly. The screws are vacuum packed and labeled clearly, with generous extra bits just in case (also labeled clearly) The textile headboard is a neutral taupe/y grey and feels like it will last a long time. The gas lift works seamlessly. Just a gorgeous functioning piece. I am so so happy with it.

Pretty easy to assemble / looks more expensive than it is

I was encouraged by other reviews I had read, and just put the bed together slowly, without tightening everything up until Step 9. Everything is labelled clearly, and you get a parts list to check before you get started (highly recommend doing this). I put it together in about 3 hours / and it looks pretty great. I think I imagined the storage space to be bigger than it is, but honestly, its plenty. We replaced an old Ikea Mandal platform bed with storage drawers with this bed, because a 4/drawer bed means you are forced to out the bed in the center of the sleeping area to use both sets of drawers. The center lift means we can have the bed right up by the windows, its got a bench below it, and theres no loss of access at all. Note: the bed is harder to push back down than to lift up, but I think thats maybe a safety feature. All in all, it was well packed, the slats are wood, rather than metal, the fabric finish is nice and understated, and its not hard to assemble, especially if youve done a fair amount of Ikea assembling in the past.

Storage is awesome.

This bed is aming. It does take a little bit to put together and may require 2 people. Love the storage under the bed.

Definitely a hassle to put together if you dont read the directions carefully! But overall best purchase I made for a new bed frame
