We bought two of these and have built one so far with my 10 year old kid in an hour and a half. Instructions were clear depending on which side you want to have the ladder. It was a tad wobbly when they climbed up, so had my husband (boiler mechanic) tighten all screws when he got home. Still wobbly, doesnt feel in danger of tipping but our previous bunk beds were rock solid compared to this. We will be mounting to the wall as it wakes my kids up when they roll over etc.
The mint is a pretty color and able to fit a desk and cubbies under!
For an adult and the bed works good. All hardware was included with spares so that was nice. The metal pieces were labeled to match instructions and after organizing them everything came together within 40 minutes.
Only problem with assembly is holes not lining up if you screw in everything super tight. Gotta lightly screw in each side until all the pieces are together so you can line up the holes, then tighten them after.
The bed is quiet but VERY wobbly when going up/down the ladder. Even with the wall secures screwed in. Im gonna get a few more anchors for the bottom legs to stop the shakiness.
Other than that I love the look of this and its function. It feels safe.
After 3 hours of assembly the bed is finally put together, I unfortunately didnt realize how low my daughters ceiling is which is the only problem. Other than that its very sturdy and worth every penny!
I bought this bunk bed for kids, the heavy weight load that was promised in the description assured me that this would hold up to rambunctious kids that forget to be careful. That has not been the case. The assembly took time but I was able to handle it with minimal assistance from a child. The overall frame has performed admirably but the hollow bars that actually support the mattresses have not. We just took the time yesterday to hammer them all straight again after moving the bed to a new house. Again, the disassembly and reassembly went well, it was just the bars that frustrate me.
If youve managed to raise kids that can resist monkeying around on a metal bunk bed, or have teens or adults on the bed, you will likely be fine. Otherwise, plan to put down additional support.
This bed was fairly simple to assemble, my 16yo did it mostly by himself. It does have a bit of a wiggle but hes gotten used to it. We do wish that the ladder rungs were larger, the small diameter of the bars is uncomfortable and cold to climb on. Otherwise, its a good bed, and were satisfied.

Not for low ceilings.
