The product says QUEEN size double bunk beds. But when we put the queen size mattress on the frame. It didnt fit right. Both top and bottom had a gap on the side and bottom. Due to improper mattress fit. So ad far as the height fitting for the mattress. Its spot on. But neither of my standard queen size mattresses fit the frame correctly.
Item changed hand 12 times before receiving at home! Packaging was destroyed: item was bent, scraped, gouged and greased. Thankfully bunkbed really is heavy duty and was still usable, because we desperately needed it (and visual condition is not top priority for us) so we hammered out the bent areas and ignored the paint damage. We will not have to return it as product is good quality but process was very bad.
This bed is perfect for my grandson to sleep on. I was able to leave the ladder off so he cant climb to the top bunk. His Dad, who is a big guy climbed onto the top bunk and the bed didnt move. Easy to assemble, my daughter and I did it together. No men had to help us. happyyyyy!

Assembly was easy when you have 2 people working on it. Some of the holes didnt quite line up perfectly, but Im not complaining because it was a simple adjustment. Sturdiness is good!!! enough but better when you place it in a corner. Can hold my adult weight of 260lbs fairly well. I wouldnt use it for myself for any length of time, but its perfect for kids between the weights of 40lbs and 120lbs at least. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a budget bunk.

So... bout 3 months in and the bunk bed is still a good!!! investment. I just need to make sure that I tighten the support bolts every month or so. Only downside...
At least it hasnt fallen on the kids likeee some of the others Ive seen. Mild bumps and bruises at the most if that were to occur anyhow. Since the pieces dont weigh a ton likeee the wooden bunkbeds I was looking at
Also need to make sure the kids dont use it for a jungle gym. Thats the reason the bolts loosen is my guess. Great Seller Customer Service!
