This replaced the metal bed frame i bought from Purple when I got my mattress from them, this does not creak or squeak at all, easy to assemble and very sturdy. Im very happy with my purchase and may Purples extremely poor excuse for a bed frame R.I.P.
I purchased the king and I was so skeptical. Guys, this bed is beautiful. It was lighter than I expected but I love the coloring anyway. It was so easy to put together but did require two people. It is very sturdy and solid wood. I especially love that the slats use velcro to keep them in place so no accidental movement. This bed is exactly what I wanted. Im so please.
The package arrived about a week early, and it was packed to perfection! Every piece was present and wrapped well, along with some extras. It went together pretty easily (although the instructions are not too instructive) as long as you pay close attention to the details in the photos to orient the legs. The bed is sturdy, nice wood, and fairly low on the ground as I wanted. You can lay your mattress right on it, no need for a box spring. Definitely a fine quality product from a company that takes pride in doing things right.
This bed frame is beautiful and well made. The directions were clear and easy, and the parts were carefully organized. I set it up myself in 30 minutes. It looks as pretty as the photos. The mattress I bought (Zinus Green Tea queen) is about 1/2 inch longer and wider than this platform but it works just fine and looks grand. Do it!
We bought this bed frame so we could eliminate the boxsprings and get Mom lower to the floor. Perfect! Now, she can get in and out of bed with ease and less risk of falling. This bed frame was so easy to assemble. Got it assembled in less than an hour. Instructions are so easy to follow. You will want a second person to help you hold the bottom section between the sides while you put a couple of screws in to hold those sections together. One person can do the rest of the assembly alone. The tape that holds the mattress in place works like a charm. I was doubtful about that myself. But it holds tight.
This is just one of the many items weve purchased lately to help prevent Mom from falling as much as possible, especially during the night. Its very sturdy. The mattress is very heavy and Mom is an average size woman. Shes had it for about 3 weeks, and its holding up well. And shes up and down quite a bit, so she really puts it to the test. Thank you!
This bed was easy to put together, solid wood ( therefore not cheap crummy particle which could break) and took us under 30 minutes to put together start to finish. Instructions are clear and a separate bag with a couple spare screws washers was a nice touch. King was truly king and no issues with our existing split foundation and mattress. The Velcro on the sides slats made the slat placement easy. Used the suggested hack of putting a slice of the thin packing material between each wood-to-wood joint. Well worth it for well under $300 for a king bed.
Its always a bit of a pig in a poke buying something like this online. I gotta say that this turned out way better than Id hoped. First, the quality of the materials was top notch. The wood was well milled and finished. But mostly what impressed me is just how very well designed and machined it was. All the holes matched up, all the parts were included and well labeled. The instructions were clear and simple. Lastly, it sits rock solid on my bedroom carpet. Ill update if anything changes, but Im guessing this relatively inexpensive frame is going to do nicely.
