Its very wobbly… We had buy extra tools from Home Depot to secure the bed. Also, we need to buy soft sponges or towels to cover the ladder. Its harsh on feet when climbing up and down.
The bed is pretty but a bit flimsy. I was also very disappointed that it says solid wood , material is pine but the the stairs are pressed particle board ( engineered wood) . If it werent more of a hassle to repackage it and return it , I would send it back .
First let me say that I really appreciate it how the pieces and hardware were set. It was not difficult to understand the assembly at all. That being said, it also, in my opinion, should not have been priced as high as it was. I paid over $600 for it and, at the time of this review, I see that it is less than that. $450-475 would be a fair price for the bed. An important factor I need to share, this bed is very high. It is my fault, we did not look at the specific measurements; it just did not look any higher than an average bunk bed in the photo they provided. The picture I have added actually doesn't give an accurate vantage, my seven-year-old who is sitting down is very close to the ceiling. The second night he was actually hit in the head by the ceiling fan, our fault, we thought we had turned it off. We realized that we cannot have it on because just him sitting up puts his head very close to it and, sadly it did happen, if he gets up on his knees when half asleep he will be hit by the fan. Good thing is it was just a swollen eye and an abrasion that went down after a few days. So my most important advice, check the measurements!
I love the bunk beds for my kids but I have a few problems the hardware packages could be a lot better the put 3 different bolts in a bag and put 3 different lose little square papers that said the part number but I didn't know which bolt part number it went to. All the bags were like that different parts put together in different bags so it was frustrating. The stairs railing came in damaged and cracked I had took everything out of my kids rooms so I couldn't return it so I had to build it It managed to hold but still worried since it's cracked. The holes on the bed and holes on the stairs do not line up so I can't bolt on the stairs to the bed so it's loose I managed to have it in tight but still comes out when my son walks up the stairs also one of the holes on the stairs doesn't have metal thread in it for the bolt to screw in so even if the holes lined up I couldn't screw it in. Last thing is since the stairs isn't too secure and keeps coming out the side panel and bottom corner of stairs cracked because it kept hitting the bed when my son walks up and down the stairs. This would be a 5 star rating if I didn't have those problems other than that bunk bed is great a little too pricy the material is pretty cheap and not worth it in my opinion I will co tact customer service and if they help me and send me the defective parts to replace I will change my rating to 5
Very nice bed our daughter loves it. I like how the ladder can be switched out to work on either side. But I do not like that the support boards/slats for under the bed were not painted white to match the rest of the bed, very upsetting to have to stop and paint those. Since it is a loft bed it is very noticeable.
Very nice looking solid bed. Took my husband and 1 a little over 2 hrs to put together. When we had to put the rails on it was a little tricky so we had to have my 13 year old daughter help hold boards too. Directions were pretty straight forward. You do have the option of putting the ladder at the foot or head of the bed. My son absolutely loves it. The grey is nice. The only reason I did a 4 was because the desk portion came with a dent in the corner. Otherwise we love this bed
I bought two loft beds with desks below for my daughters to have desks in their room for zoom time with their teachers. Both beds fit nicely in one room. The ladder can go on one side or the other. The desk space is more than enough. The twin mattress fits with a little room to spare makes it easy to put the sheets on.

Paint the support boards to match the bed.
