I love this! Its a beautiful cherry color. It was not difficult to put together, I did it by myself. Admittedly, it did take me a while but once it was done, its something to be proud of! My mother and sister loved sleeping on it when they visited me, and the mattresses that are recommended are great too. Look for the ones that are below the description that say customers also purchased keep a 6-inch mattress on the bottom one, 8in is okay for the top.
The instructions indicate that you should have two people. the shed rails and the end panel connection starts with a 1/2 wood dowel that serves to align the corner. then you can install two dogs and bolts. start off with a power driver using an allen tip. The alley wrench provided is fine and you should tape it the the bottom of a mattress slat but you will cut the time to get er done to 30 minutes. This was to easiest furniture pack ever. Product is solid pine NO particle board !!

The product arrived safely encased in not 1 but 2 boxes with enough styrofoam that it would have taken talent to get it scratched! I love it!

Like the ease of assembly. Side board was split on arrival is the only negative.

Annoying minor defects
Giving two stars because of minor factory defects that does not worth to put it back in the box and return it, but it is somewhat noticeable.
