All the parts dont line up evenly at the joints. Dimensions are a bit bigger than the mattress so theres a gap between the wall. For the money, overall good value.
We have been looking around for a twin size for a while that wouldnt break the bank. The cost was on par for the bed. One of my pieces came split, but I was able to put together and wood glue the split.
If it wasnt for that I would give it 5 stars. The Allen wrench they give you is small and annoying so if you have a longer one its easier to assemble. You dont need two people but it definitely makes it easier with two people to assemble.
Its very nice and sturdy but the screws were rough on my fingers when it came to screwing them in, was very easy to assemble and move around. I ordered my son a little platform to go underneath his mattress. Hes going to love this!
I assembled this mostly myself (my husband held one of the ends for a bit) so its super easily to assemble, looks great, the tone of the wood is super nice and its solid. No swaying. Love it!
The only thing I dont care for is the extra space between the bottom beams and the mattress. There is roughly 6 around the whole mattress, Im concerned Ill step or trip on the exposed beams.
If you read the negative reviews and are unsure as I was let me tell you this is a great buy.
Regarding negative reviews:
1-It does fit very loose in a Twin Matress, if you are buying it for a toddler or younger child and are concerned about them becoming stuck between the mattress and stud a TWIN XL will solve that issue.
I have a Twin XL and the fit is almost perfect perhaps an inch or 2 around in allowance which is necessary for bedding, etc and not enough to pose a danger.
2. The instructions do suck, but here is the trick if you do not look at them it is actually super duper easy to build.
-Build the sides with the roof triangle shape above.
-Join at the base sides
-Join at the roof sides
-Join roof center
Just match A to A B to B H1 to H1 and so on. It took me 30 minutes and I did it alone.
3. About sturdiness: I dont know what people are expecting from something like this. It is a tall build with thin studs, so yes you kids will not be able to swing on it but if you tighten all the screws well it is really good.
4. Overall good regardless of the price, but when you have in mind that also this frame is 1/3 or even 1/4 of the cost of similar items out there its a win for sure.

pieces dont fully align
holes in the slabs are weird, super tough to screw and pieces dont align entirely, leaving screws exposed quality is not great
Overall good value

Disappointed
Its super flimsy. And really not worth your money.
Twin XL mattress frame
Great cute bed frame for my 2 year old son! Youll needs a twin XL mattress unless you want about a 5 inch gap.

After all said and done, we love it!
The only thing I dislike is the sturdiness! We added railing and 2X4 to our little girls to sturdy it up. Turned out great
