Ordered this bed for my 4 year old. It is very sturdy with a flawless finish. Some people have said it smells terrible. I dont smell anything except wood and a slight odor from the finish but it is not overpowering. BEWARE! None of the wood pieces are labeled so request assistance did you ate visual spatially challenged. Overall, it was easy to assemble and I would buy this bed again.
A few months later.he hit 45 pounds and the ladder is absolute garbage! It is not sturdy at all! Currently looking for a replacement or just another gray bed to match the dresser and bookshelf. Less than a year and it feels like a huge waste of money!
Bought as a birthday present for 7 year old nephew he loves it, especially the underneath. My only dislike is that it came with a couple of cracks in a few pieces no number to call for replacements. Have to find it myself.
Four shipped boxes contained all pieces / took a few hours to put together using hammer, hex wrench and a drill screwdriver. Toddler loves the final result, slept in it first night with no problems! Paired it with the Morgedal twin foam mattress from IKEA and it fits excellent!
I was surprised by the quality of this! Very sturdy and just beautiful! Its just the perfect height for my 3 year old toddler. All shelves and cabinet is included as shown in picture above. We just have ours around the room as we utilize the bottom area as a reading nook. We even bought rainbow color string lights and spend endless hours underneath the bed reading books together. You wont be disappointed with this purchase! I know I am not.

Boys love it!
Grandsons loved having their own area in a shared bedroom. Sturdy and not too high like some bunk beds.
Need to add a board on the slats for bigger kids
