    Easy assembly, sturdy when finished

Looks vintage and up to date at the same time. Color matches my floor. no box spring required.

    Assembly is a Bear!

This handsome bedstead requires you to guess how to align the bolt with the nut inside the frame. There is so much play that it can take a while to successfully connect the two. Frustrating

    Tips for assembly

After reading reviews I was a little concerned regarding the assembly of my bed. I Normally will use directions as a guide just to be referenced. However this time I did step by step. following instructions, And took my time. I did it in about 5 hours with a tv Break here and there. If you can ,do it by yourself as the directions are not very detailed and almost to simple. If someone is helping you may miss a step or do it the wrong way. It is easy to undo if you happen to make a mistake. In some of the reviews people have spoken about the slat holes on the frame not meeting with the clips that go on the slats. For this part use a rubber hammer to tap the clips on the slat and then tap the slats to the frame. The most important part is to tighten all screws after the bed is fully assembled. Cant stress this more. you might think that they are tight as you go along but they may not be. Take a break and then go back to it. You might want to ask someone else to give it a good tighten up before you put the mattress on. For those that have left reviews stating that the bed fell apart I hope you have not gotten rid of it . I suggest you try putting it together again starting form scratch. Good luck I hope you like your bed as much as I like mine

Cant use regular mattress or bed skirt.

Challenging to put together and not the traditional design. I failed to notice that not only does the mattress need to be exceptionally thin, you cannot use a boxspring with us due to the design and because of that a traditional bedskirt is also not usable because there is no boxspring. All in all it was a good value for what we purchased so we will keep it for now. Good value.

The bolts suck! The Bed frame Awesome!

Most of the bolts stripped out. It didnt come with enough nuts. I recommend buying some harbor freight bolts. Great bed for the money! Nice and sturdy!

    Great price and acceptable quality

Great price and acceptable quality. Easy to install it takes approximately 30 to 40 minutes . So under one hour to put together is a 5 star rating. The product is well made and sturdy for Kids ages 6/ 10 years old. It has great features to support an adult weigh as well. I will recommend this product.

    VERY flimsy metal

You wanted cheap, you (we) got it. When I was putting it together I was very careful not to fall down and easily crush one of the metal supports. Im thin it might be ok for just one person, and I would get on to your bed carefully and not jump on it. This should be less than 100 dollars.
