This bunk bed is a beast! All true wood, easy directions with appropriately marked parts, and super sturdy. It took us two days to put together - day one we got both of the bunks stacked, and day two was the staircase with the drawers.
This bunk is incredibly heavy so I would recommend assembly in its final resting place. It was a bit hard to attach the staircase since it was up against the wall. I also recommend screwing in all the slats as per directions because they WILL move with the mattress.
It feels that the bunks have extra room from the standard mattresses. The bottom full mattress has extra room and the top twin looks like it could take the Twin LX mattress.
Our bunk came with a trundle but we did not put that together since we dont need it, so I cant speak to that portion of the bunk bed.
Overall, absolutely worth the money in terms of value. We will just have to wait and see if the staircase/drawers were really worth the extra hassle. Today our two toddlers store their treasure toys in the drawers and have no problem going up and down. Added bonus is that each step has an anti slip strip already attached.

We purchased this on after we had multiple issues buying a similar product from a local furniture store. The product arrived before the expected shipping date which was great. It took my husband, by himself about 6 hours to put together (even though he is very mechanically inclined). For what it is, the bed is sturdy enough. We use it as a loft bed for my son. We didnt put the lower bed together and my husband added metal braces onto the posts for safety. The manufacturer does not recommend this (probably for safety/sturdiness) but it works well for my son who is only 7. Overall, its a great product that takes a little while to put together.
Absolutely love this bunk bed! It ships in multiple boxes so be ready, but it was easy to assemble and turned out so strong adults could safely and comfortably use this bed

I found the quality of this bunk bed set to be excellent. It is all solid wood -- not a single piece of pressboard. Every piece was straight and true, and fit exactly as it should. I also think that the companys packaging engineers and packers in the plant should get a raise. I have NEVER seen a complex product with such carefully designed and executed packaging. Every piece was thoroughly protected and arrived in perfect condition.
My son and granddaughter helped me with the assembly (the bed is for her and her younger brother when they come to visit), and my son was so impressed that he encouraged me to write this review. The grandkids adore the beds and steps, and couldnt wait to spend the night!
Assembly takes a significant amount of time; we did the beds one day and the steps the next day. The instructions advise against using power tools for assembly. However, I used my drill motor with the clutch at a low setting to drive the fasteners most of the way in, and did the final tightening by hand to avoid stripping out the threads. If I had done the whole assembly by hand, I think my wrist would have been in bad shape; There are a LOT of long screws.
Overall, the set seems VERY sturdy and quite nice looking. The large amount of storage in the steps is a big bonus. All our friends and relatives who have seen it are very impressed, and incredulous at the price. I heartily recommend it.

Assembly: missing holes for screws, some that were misaligned. Directions took a fair amount of deciphering.
Biggest complaint was the off-gassing smell. Really strong smell as soon as the box was opened. We let the bed parts sit for a week before assembling, our son still felt nauseous sleeping in the bed a week after assembly.
This is a great bunk bed. As a few other reviewers have mentioned, there may be a couple of random screws that do not attach. Plan on having a backup that is a half inch longer, as they have pre-drilled the holes too deep and wide. Overall a great bed and purchase. Family is happy.
