This item was incredibly easy to put together by myself and took about 2 hours. I was surprised how sturdy it was midway through construction when flipping it was required.

I love this armoire / it was super heavy in the box, but thats how I knew the material was real and the finished product would be sturdy. Put together with my husband, took maybe 2 hours? It went by pretty fast / easier with 2 people though. Slim enough to fit next to our bed, replacing my nightstand. The perfect amount of extra storage I needed in the bedroom!! I love it!! Looks so sleek and NOT cheap!
I see that a number of people had damaged parts or badly manufactured parts. All of the parts i received were manufactured properly and no damage to be seen. In fact, every single little hole was drilled to the millimeter so that the pieces could all fit together perfectly. I also saw some reviews saying this was difficult to assemble. I dont know what planet people are living on but I have never encountered a more easy to assemble piece of furniture. I was shocked that the different boards literally had identifiers on them (e.g. C1, D1 as did the screws and nails and other connectors (e.g., e330, f220). Every single thing you needed could be identified by numerical labels / no guess and check like Ikea or West Elm furniture.
With that said, there is a downside to this unit. It is very tall, and the sturdiness of it is not perfect. It only fastens to boards at the very bottom and very top of the unit, which are about 6 feet apart. When you stand it up, if you push on the sides, it will bend/flex a little bit. Its not terrible but just not great. I think what they need is either a thick solid back (a board rather than a piece of cardboard nailed in) OR, more easily, a middle shelf that fastens in with connectors like the top and bottom pieces. I understand this would make the shelf not flexible to move up or down, but it would make the overall unit more sturdy.
At the end of the day, this is a high quality piece of furniture that is easy to assemble and does the job, given the price.
This was the easiest thing to assemble that I have ever assembled. All the parts were labeled correctly and organized. When two screws went missing and a board was damaged they immediately sent me replacements. The packaging was great and the only board that was damaged was replaced immediately and there was no run around about returning the entire cabinet which I had to do with an Ikea desk when one panel was damaged and no directions were included. This cabinet company is also an American company and I think I will be through with IKEA now since they made me repackage and send back the complete desk after I had opened and unpackaged everything. Great product with an American company
