I think it was worth buying. My only complaint is that there isnt an opening where the ladder is to give easy access to the bed (which makes it a little uncomfortable for my kid to get into the bed). Other than that, its sturdy, looks nice, saves space, and inexpensive.
Instructions always suck when there is no words just pics of the pieces and you put the pieces the same way as in the Instructions but thats not right so you do it again and the if you call it that is cheap the pieces that the bolts screw into were pulling through the as I was tightening them with the provided tool not a drill and had to screw extra so the desk would stop falling off I got the bed first and it didnt smell but the bookcase and the bureau have an awful chemical smell would have returned it but the bed was already in the room dont buy this WAY OVER PRICED FOR WHAT YOU GET
Kid lovees it, we put a good mattress in it so its comfortable. Its sturdy enough on its own but if you attach it to a wall its very sturdy. Looks good, easy to assemble.
The bed seems sturdy, thicker than a lot of furniture Ive ordered online. The desk part came damaged, but has a form online where you enter the style, color, damaged part, when and where purchased, and a photo of the damage. I submitted this and got a confirmation email and then immediately after the desk piece shipped and I got an email notification of that. It was super easy. I think this happens a lot with shipped furniture, especially because all furniture appears to be a combo of and mdf these days rather than solid . My complaint with the bed is the smell. It has that new furniture VOC odor and though it says within safe formaldehyde limits I still had the idea of chemicals on my kids bed. I miss the days of the da Vinci kalani greendguard crib bed for a couple hundred bucks. Why isnt there a bunk or loft version of that? Though its not greenguard and clearly stinky, its still solid and better than other especially for the price
I really enjoy putting things together.
While my husband was working I decided to assemble the bunk bed. This bed is well constructed, easy to assemble, sturdy, took me about an hour or less. It is definitely worth buying. We have a 7 and 9 year old boys.
I have had the bed for a while and I wanted to see how it faired a few months in before I reviewed. WELL. I lovee it! My daughter is 6 and she lovees it too. Its high enough for her to feel like a big girl but not so high that it would scare her.
Putting it together was fairly easy. I am a 52 single mom and I was able to carry the boxes and put the bed together all in my own. You may think this is irrelevant but for some of US its imperative that we do things on our own.
CUSTOMER SERVICE: One of the boxes was damaged in transit and when I reached out their CRS they sent out a new box right away. A company is only as good as its customers service. You guys are absolutely amazing!
Yes, of course its got some wobble to it. Basically all loft beds do. Its not too bad in the long direction because of the diagonal cross bracing on the back. Theres no diagonal supports on the head or foot so the side to side wobble is pretty bad. Ill probably look into adding a couple bolt anchors, and adding a beam across from my ladder.
Also Im an adult, so the ladder isnt exactly meant for my weight or large feet, but it wouldve been nice if they had added 3-4 inch en rungs (that match the decorative planks on each side) or some other form of padding.

Wobbly and a crappy ladder, but still pretty good for the price.

Looks good, sturdy.
The only down side is the ladder steps are just square metal tube. My daughter doesnt seem to mind, but they hurt my feet.
Stairs
The stairs are uncomfortable to use but besides that, is good
Super nice and dont take too much spaces.
My kids lovee it and me too. Super easy to build maybe it took me an hour. But you do need to have strong hands. Im very happy for what I got.
