This is a very nice table. Only had it a couple weeks. Sturdy and very attractive. The embossing in the center accentuates the table and the nail head pattern matches our sofas. Not sure from what material it is made, but it seems fine. Assembly was a snap. We are two older adults and no animals, so we are not very hard on our furniture. This should last us quite a while.
Ordered 2 tables, they are beautiful, but both of them came with the minor scratches. One shelf of one of the tables has underneath damage.

Beautiful piece, but not best quality. But for the price, what do you expect! So gave 5 stars do to the beauty and quality for the price. Had one shelf damaged, they replaced the entire piece.
