For the most part, we love this bed. It was relatively easy to put together. I did it mostly by myself and my husband helped hold up some of the pieces while I screwed them together. For one of the steps, we could have really used a third person but our daughter was not old enough to help. It took us a while to complete that step.
The bed itself seems pretty sturdy. I feel pretty safe sleeping in the bed myself. Our daughter loves the bed and cant wait to sleep in it. Shes still a little too young for it so were having her wait. We got this bed mostly to give us more floor space and she doesnt sleep in her toddler bed anyway. So for now, she plays in the bed during the day and is getting use to it.
The one major complaint I have is that the bed came with some cracks (see pictures) on one of the posts and on the side rail of the ladder. Not sure if they got damaged during shipping or was already cracked before they were put into the box and nobody noticed/cared. We are looking into how to fix this issue before it gets worse.
Another minor complaint I have is that the bed slates are a little too far apart for my liking. Im fine if Im just lying down on the bed, but when Im making the bed, I dont feel as safe.

This bed is totally awesome my kids have used this furniture for many things I like the smooth ladder and well designed guard rail so my kid wont fall off while sleeping. I used the service to build the bed, well worth it the dude was cool and smart.
When my son turned 3 in February my mom bought this for his new bed. It didnt even last 1 day. My son likes to craw through the window opening and in doing so the straps came unsewn and came off. He pulled off 3 or 4 of the straps. Its hard to tell a 3 year old not to climb through an area that looks exciting. My mother/in/law sews so she reinforced the straps by sewing them on better. That didnt last any longer. Next, she redesigned the straps. She bought heavy duty straps and sewed Velcro on instead of being held on by tying them. We thought if he tugged on it hopefully the Velcro would come undone only and save the straps. Nope. It lasted the longest, but only for about 3 days. It is now put away until hes older and can understand to be gentle. We still use the other sections, just not the one that faces front, which is the best part of course.

My daughter absolutely loves her castle bed!!! This was super easy to attach, and the material is very strong. I have sent it through the washer due to an accident, and they held up excellent. My daughter loves to use this as a hide out, or to play princesses. The pouches in the top portion are a little small to actually hold much of anything, but at least they are still cute.
The stitch on the hem isnt the greatest but its one of those fabrics where the stitch is all funny. I was really regretting buying this thing. Its 50 dollars and its unnecessary but then we got it and it was soooo beautiful! The colors are very pretty. My daughter, is 3, she likes having it on her bed but for some reason she wont play with it? But anyway, its nice.
