I am extremely satisfied with this purchase. Took a while for my bf to assemble 2/3 hours but, it was all worth it in the end for a good nights rest. The bed is sturdy and reliable and most importantly, affordable. I would definitely purchase again.
I loved the bed, definitely needs two people to assemble for certain parts. But it was super easy to put together. Im 63 200lb man and find the bed super sturdy and secured. Love the metal grey, would recommend to anybody. Canopy bed makes a bed look much bigger than what it is.
This bed is absolutely perfect for my tween daughter! Its sleek and really beautiful (especially with some gauzy curtains and twinkle lights). Would I recommend for an adult or even a couple to sleep in? Probably not. The level of sturdiness maxes out.
We purchased this bed mainly because of the price so everything is filtered through that! This bed is incredibly affordable. Ive have it about a month so I feel like I have enough experience. Here are the main thoughts out of that:
1. The bed is NOT black. Its very gray!
2. The look is modern, what we wanted.
3. Assembly was easy. I did it by myself but recommend two people. I almost broke a pole.
4. UPS would not deliver it to my apartment. We moved and delivered to my home. The box is very heavy.
5. It is creaky. Not enough to bother us or wake us up. But it does make noises (we have hardwood floors)
6. The middle bar does little to nothing like photos by reviewers show. Unsure if this will be an issue down the road! Overall I feel that the quality will not last for more than a few years.
Main point is we like that we are achieving the look we want (minus the color being black). we purchased this because we wanted the Room and Board version but because we were buying a home and needed a lot of furniture we decided to save here for now and purchase other furniture we needed at a better quality. We will be upgrading to the Room and Board bed at some point! Mainly because of the color, the creaky noises, and Im not convinced this will last quality wise long term. This is nice for now.
If your not up for a challenge, dont build this. To be fair my friend and I built this together There was swearing and lots of laughter, mostly at how it took so long to figure out the instructions. I love this bed though. Ive always wanted a canopy and now I have one!
This bed does look the same in the photos. It is very squeeky even with the plastic clips in place. The bolts were not manufactured well and all of the metal was powder coated after fasteners were installed.
Absolutely love this bed! My friend built it for me and it took him about an hour and a half but it is extremely sturdy. No creaks or anything. I would highly recommend this platform bed if you are trying to get rid of your box spring and just use your mattress.
Bought this for my 3 year old daughter. It is a nice heavy bed! Instructions were easy, all the parts were there and there was even a package of extra parts. Nicely packaged as well. Would def buy again!
