Lots of instructions for assembly but definitely required two people. Thought there were certainly parts where you needed to keep everything loosely aligned/screwed to make sure the next part would go in - or if you tightened as you went things would never fit in. Happy with how it came out and liked that there were two heights possible - went with the taller height to give me storage underneath!
I bought this bed for a guest room. Its beautiful. Its more of a muted gold and isnt shiny yellow, which I love. It seems sturdy and doesnt squeak when you lay on it. You can also adjust the frame to different heights, depending on how far off the ground you want the mattress. On the highest level you can easily store things under the bed with what Id estimate to be about 1 foot of clearance.

My husband and I bought this bed for our 7-year-old daughter. She still sleeps in our bedroom. So we wanted a daybed that we could dress up as a sitting area so our room doesnt look like it has 2 bed in it during the daytime. The bed was very easy to assemble. My husband and I put it together in about 2 hours or less and he really didnt need a lot of my help. The trundle bed at the bottom works very well also. We use it for my son sometimes (12 years old) or my husband or I also sleep on it occasionally if my daughter has a nightmare and wants someone to sleep close to her. The bed is very sturdy. We love it!

Easy and quick to assemble. Perfect bed for kids. Comfort will ultimately depend on the mattress you use, but bet frame is great.

Very easy to assemble, but it did take some time. The bed seems quite sturdy. One of the finials is slightly crooked.
