It was easy to assemble and looks nice. The only complaint I have is the fabric colors didn't match in some places but they don't show, so meh. I'd recommend it anyway.
PROS: Good for small spaces and for short people (I am v short, also v fat and I don't understand the reviews saying obese people won't fit on this? I fit?). Easy to put together. No issues with shipping (I did have to open the box outside and carry the pieces in individually due to narrow doorways) and it did show up like 3 days before the estimated delivery. Seat cushions are comfy for movies or video games or working on laptop, they're springs wrapped in foam, good for sitting on or laying on. Back cushions are comfy with modifications and cozy for sinking into on a couchlocked kind of day.
CONS: Charcoal color isn't shown accurately, it does photograph as a dark grey but irl looks very dark blue-grey; if you're decorating to match other dark grey furniture, this won't match. Velcro doesn't match up. Cheap build quality, do not sit on the arms or stand on it, it's not that kind of couch. Sized for children but product guide says to keep kids off of it. Literally every listed measurement is wrong. I tried to contact the seller about this to ask for a partial refund to cover the cost of taller legs to make this sofa the listed height. I can deal with the rest of it but having a sofa too low to the ground is uncomfortable (I'm just over 5' and it's too low for me). The seller link goes to and when I contacted them I was told by that only make mattresses and foundations, not furniture. Again: LICENSES THEIR NAME TO THIRD PARTY MANUFACTURERS TO SELL PRODUCTS BRANDED AS THAT HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH . What I'm saying is I should have saved a hundred fifty dollars by buying one of the other couches just like this one that didn't say on the box. The manufacturer, Home Living, has been unresponsive.
MODS: 1) Swapped out the 4 cheap plastic legs for 6 sturdy wooden legs. Immediate improvement! This cost around fifty dollars because legs are sold in sets of four. 2) Sliced open the back cushions and removed about 1/3 of the filling. It was easier than expected because the filling is contained in the pillows in 3 sections. This gives more seat depth and also makes the back cushions easier to sink into. It's also enough filling for two 18 throw pillows. 3) Couch cover to hide the misaligned velcro and make the color match the rest of my living room.
OVERALL: If you need a small couch and you're cool with doing a little project to make this work, it's okay for the price. It's also exactly the same couch as the other ones made by Home Living that are significantly cheaper, so maybe get one of those instead and use the extra money for better legs and a couch cover.
Assembly wasnt difficult but was far from easy. The video didnt match up with reality. Had to get help and we still struggled with one of the holes that didnt line up perfectly. Got a good workout putting the seat cushions into the covers though since I had to sit on them and bounce to smush them in! Throw pillows pictured were NOT included but I wanted colorful ones anyway. The couch is comfortable but not as deep as I would like when I want to lie down. Im a bigger girl though and think this may improve over time as the back cushions compress. I also plan to add velcro to the back cushions to keep them in place better. The fabric is nice (buckwheat) but lighter color than I expected. Its definitely closer to ivory. Im ok with that since I dont have kids or dogs but go darker if you do. The feet are plastic too instead of wood which was disappointing. I was replacing a very nice quality Bernhardt couch that I had for almost 20 years and loved but needed something that seated higher and was smaller for my space. This worked perfectly space wise but doubt it will last even half that long. For the price I like it and am ok with the limitations but had there not been a 10 month turnaround to order one from Lazyboy, would have happily paid four times more. It will definitely be the only couch I ever assemble!
These are well made compared to the storage types they have which are more firm. These are not firm, in fact they sink too much in the seats with the sinuous springs below the cushions with pocket coils. Rear cushions have webbed backing them which is okay. There is no sliding forward as with the storage sofa. The frame is strong and the material should endure. If I lift one corner in the front, the other end corner will come up after lifting just two inches, which would indicate a rigid frame. I noticed after a few months use that one of the seat's foam inserts has a ripple across the middle that I cannot seem to straighten. The tan color is more an off white, too light for me. Also I like more height for my head to rest in the rear cushions. Also seat cushions could be deeper.
Ive had this sofa for 3 months and weve tried to make it comfortable… but its not. Doesnt support the back and its not deep enough to sit on for a long time. This might be a good sofa for kids but not for adults. Im 51 and its not ideal for me.

Get ready to sit on a sponge.
Seat cushions are way too soft, sink down enough to use other cushion as arm rest! Assembly ok, quality ok, price excellent.g

Great for the price but know what youre getting!
