This loveseat is exactly the style and comfort you can expect from the price point offered. Far exceeded my expectations!!!! I would definitely recommend this piece for anyone who would want the glam look without the glam prices. VERY and SURPRISINGLY pleased. Know that this is a LOVESEAT and not a full sofa. It has a rich and bulky quality without overpowering a room. It fits perfectly in a typical New York apartment space.
I am so pleasantly surprised by this loveseat. It looks better than in the product photo, the quality is better than expected and its more comfortable than expected. The back might be a bit harder for some, but add some throw pillows and this is a great addition to a space.
UPDATE (3/22/21): I noticed the price of this couch has DOUBLED now since I have gotten it, It was just under 300 when I bought it now I see it is almost 600! So for that I am lowering by one star as I found it an awesome couch for a good deal but it is not at all worth 600. It has been just over a year and a half and the is piling a little (photographed) and the couch cushions are getting flat leaving the cushion cover to have sag. I dont mind because I didnt spend a whole lot on it but if I spent 600 I would be disappointed.
This couch is exactly as described, I love it!! I was extremely skeptical about ordering a couch on and went back and forth on it but this was SO worth it. It is exactly what I have been looking for. Looks vintage and is the perfect size for a great price.
One thing that was not very clear was how the box came it comes in one giant 90/100 pound box, just a warning. Which was fine, I could move it by myself. For the assembly instructions I dont think I have ever seen more clear in detail instructions. You can totally tell any negative comment someone had with the assembley they had fixed and made sure it was very clear in the instructions. It kept saying you need two people to do it but I did it all by myself and I am HORRIBLE at any kind of assembly.
The couch material seems to be a very good quality and is very sturdy. Cushions are fine and back is harder like it looks online, but nothing some throw pillows cant fix!
I have had this couch over 2 months now and I can say it has held up very well! I will probably be buying the matching chair next! Id say if you are back and forth on getting this or not, for sure get it!!! You wont be disappointed!
It is a beautiful little loveseat, but it takes some getting accustomed to. The back being the same height as the arms is a little weird at first, in person (in photos it looks so elegant!). It works great though. The seat back is high enough for comfortable leaning back (I am 53 though) and when one person sits on it, they tend to sit a little sideways and rest one arm along the back. It is very comfortable that way. A nice (super) bonus is that cat hair doesnt show very much on it. We have 3 cats so that is a major thing for me. I think the design works really well for sofas that are against windows and in the middle of the floor / as they allow a maximum ratio of viewing / openness and comfortable seat back height. To get real for a moment / to make the vibe work you will probably need to replace several items in the room. The tufted (all the buttons) look, with the curved arms and nailhead trim, along with the uniform height, doesnt fit most interior design. Finding curtains to match the room and it was a B and well still have to find another oriental rug for sure (one with less colors and intricate design). The loveseat is such an attention grabber that I had tone down other elements in the room or it would look gaudy.
