The is already pilling and Ive barely sat in it because it is very uncomfortable. There is no give in the seat cushion at all so its like sitting on a board.
We wanted big chairs to fill a spot and these are great. They seem well constructed and sturdy. I do agree that a soft pillow helps with the backrest. Overall we are very happy so far. The assembly was two pre/threaded holes in each leg. Easy peasy. They arrived packaged very well. I was surprised / ready with camera to take some pics to show damage butnone existed. Recommended

This item looks fantastic. The clean lines were really what drew us to this piece and the sturdiness. However, if looking for softness and comfort this leaves something to be desired. We bought some accent pillows that help some, but seat and back are very very firm.
