This is a beautiful bed and much better than expected for an online order. Very elegant but also functional and sturdy design. No creaking or sagging, even with a hybrid Layla king mattress. Assembly was smooth for the most part, but mounting the headboard to the frame and inserting the wooden slat supports into the middle plastic bracket connecting the 2 sides can be a challenge. Excellent customer support! They shipped four wooded slat plastic brackets immediately.
Bed was very difficult to assemble. Once it was put together we read the reviews about people breaking the wood slats. Ordered a metal frame to solve this proble. Bed is beautiful and a real buy for the money. Quality of the headboard is great. Once you get through the initial problems you will be very happy with the purchase.

This bed is amazing. Im in love. Bought it for my room that has limited storage space and it fits perfectly. Installation is easy and straightforward if you follow directions. I love it. Even my mom wants to get one for herself.
Having previously purchased several platform beds from I was familiar with their high quality products. They are very well designed for packaging, shipping and assembly and the finished product is very handsome as well as sturdy. The only challenge is the weight of the package. Instead or hauling the entire package up the stairs I unpacked all of the parts and carried them up piece by piece. The assembly took about 20 minutes using only the tools they supplied. One improvement they have made is supplying a ratcheting allen wrench which speeds tightening of the fasteners. Their wood slat design provides excellent support and ventilation for foam mattresses.

Not too high you dont need a boxspring and very smooth to the touch on the upholstery .
