Really nice and sturdy. Needed more space in my daughters room and this got the job done! I do feel like its more of an off white color though and the was a slight discolored scratch but it was very small. I just bought a black one for my sons room as well. Easy to put together as long as u have a drill.
First, let me say this bed is great. Easy enough for one to put together, but 2 is probably better. Feels good and sturdy. The only reason it didnt get 5 stars is because it is missing a part. I know what your saying, one whole star for a part? Well, its a pretty important safety part: one of the endcaps for the ladder to the second level of the bed. I know I can trek up to the hardware store and find something to go in there, but I shouldnt have to.
It took 3 hours, 2 people and a lot of frustration to putt it together.
About 40 of the spacers that go under the mattress were missing from the box.
It is ok/ish for now, we are waiting for the manufacturer to send them.
Once it is assembled it is sturdy.
I didnt think it would be as low as it was but it was still high enough to put some furniture underneath. Setting it up alone requires a lot of strength and energy. It squeaks a lot when I move slightly and I find it annoying, other than that I love how it fits in my room.
Its a pretty good bed. Shorter than what I had imagined. Bout 4 feet tall. I put together with my son so pretty easy bout an hour n half. I put a queen memory foam mattress underneath long ways.
We purchased this last year and to be 1 yr old for us the bed already creaks alot especially when my son tosses and turns you can hear the bed squeek alot. We do like the height of it and the color paint is still on. Under the bed if you want to consider that storage we fit his toy chest and a chair under the bed.
So my son loves his bed. His room is kind of small but with the loft he had more room now to play under his bed. I gave it 4 stars though for a few reasons.
1/ the bed rails are very small. He could very easily roll off. Thankfully he made a barrier of pillows and toys and just sleeps on the side closest to the wall.
2/ the ladder steps make no sense. The last step is unnecessary
3/ going off the ladder steps. There is nothing to help grip while your going down the ladder. Were going to buy step tape to put on it. To help with it some.
Other than those this bed is great.

for the price, I am very pleased. My 7 year old can get under it and play yet still not be so high up when she sleeps. would recommend

Perfect for my 9 year old! He loves it! Opened up much more space in his bedroom with the storage under the bed!
