Like everyone else said / great bed, annoying to assemble.

This took me about an hour to put together with help. Directions certainly could be clearer. Also, if you try to do this without a power drill best of luck but it will take forever. I found I had to loosen a large number of bolts and retighten them, so a drill saved the day. The section that shows one bolt being tightened to 100 and the other to 80 is a lie. Tighten them both to 70 and come back later to tighten them to 100 or it wont go together. Still a very nice bed and glad we got it.

A Paradise for Kids / But Not So Sturdy

My kids loved this bunk bed with the slide. The assembly took 5 hours; not that it is complex, but the first two steps took much time, as placing the 7 planks onto the wooden bar was not so easy. Finally, the material is not so sturdy. I noticed a crack while installing the white chips on the final steps.

Life changing for my daughter, she now thinks her bed is the best bed in town.

Definitely not an easy assembly but, not super difficult either. Just be ready to set down and work on this for an hour or so. Maybe longer if you do not PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE DETAILS ON ASSEMBLY Dont ask how I learned this.

Needs modifications for safety. Read below.

Overall, we love the bed, but heres what you need to know if youre thinking about getting this one or a similar bed: ? The 3rd time our threeyearold slept on the top bunk, she fell off through the gap in the railing where the ladder attaches. She didnt get hurt because the top bunk is still fairly low and we have carpet, but we decided it was unsafe for her to be on top for now. ? There are not enough bed slats, so we took both sets of slats and used them on the upper bunk. That was the only way to not have the mattress sink through the gap between the slats. ? The bottom mattress now rests directly on the ground without any slats. And this works fine. ? The slide was designed a bit too steep. We put a kiddie chair under the end of the slide, and now its safer. So there are definitely modifications that we needed to make, but I would still give it 4.5/5 because its sturdy and works great. We use the upper bunk for storing all her stuffies, and she still loves going down the slide. Check out my Instagram @dr.liya.leng for safety tips and how to get your kiddo to stay in bed when transitioning out of a crib.

    Worth it, could be better

Overall worth the money, and the assembly is okay. The top level guard rail is not as steady as I expected.

    Best Bunkbed on

I waited a full year before I wrote a review for this because I wanted to see how it held up. Firstly I think I looked at every single set of bunk beds in here and read about 80 of the reviews. This one I chose because I liked the low bottom bunk for my at the time 2 year old toddler. And I also liked the fact that the top bunk held up to 300lb incase I wanted to get in and snuggle my year old. The bunk beds came and were incredibly easy to put together. (I did it alone) They were super sturdy but I didnt really like the space in between the slats on the top bunk. For my son it wasnt an issue but for me it was uncomfortable. As you probably know, you can only have a 3/5 inch mattress on the top and it didnt feel like it would hold they weight it promised. And I could feel the gaps when lying down There was enough room in between the slats to fit in additional slats between the ones there, so my fist thought was to just go and buy some wood the next day from Home Depot and make extras. However I called the company first. They Assured me that the slat roll I received would definitely hold the weight however they did tell me that they actually made a slat roll that had the extra slats ( exactly what I wanted but at an extra cost of 80). They very kindly waived the cost and shipped it for the next day. I thought the service was aming and they now have a customer for life. The bed has held up beautifully. Its easy to clean and very sturdy. If you are debating. Buy it, I promise you will love it.

Awesome bunk bed and the kids love it.

We loved it. Well made and looked great after putting it together. Bit of work but that is to be expected for such a large piece of furniture. Also made in Vietnam which is a major plus.

    Looks good and sturdy

Took me about 75 minutes alone to assemble. Directions were very good. Sturdy and grandkids love it. Only minor issue is that the lower bunk is very low since it sits on the ground, little challenging for older folks. Overall great item.
