Took about 2.5-3 hours to assemble. To get all the pieces together and level, I helped my husband for a small part of the assembly. The kids love it. The kids are 5 and 7 years old. My daughter who is on the top bunk says she is excited she can read with a flashlight without disturbing her sibling with the light.
Came damaged and warped. Had to use my hammer to bend the end into position and broke a pole in doing so. But it will hold together all right I think. We will see..
These are amazing bunk beds. We have a low ceiling so preferred the bottom bunk frame as low as possible. Also with the bottom bunk frame on the floor it helps keep it super extra sturdy. I have 2 wild boys and they climbed all over this thing for over a year and it still til this day doesnt wobble a single bit at all. Still like new. WILL DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THESE. Fashionable, super super sturdy for wild kiddos, also perfect for a home with low ceilings so child on top bunk can have plenty of sitting up and play space as well as the child on the bottom bunk.
Delivered today, packaged very well, put it together by myself. The only part that seems a bit like it could snap is the front rail, so I have my kids hold the end of the bed instead when climbing down.
The directions are not clear, but once my husband got going, he had it finished in less than 3 hours. The second one will be a snap! Very good-looking and we like that they are lower to the ground.
First this took 2 adults about 4 hours to get together. Granted, a lot of that time was taken up trying to keep toddlers from stealing various hardware items necessary but still.
However! Once together, this thing is SOLID! Its amazing! There is no wiggle. There is no noise. There is no movement. I wish the top rails were a tad higher but then I suppose I wouldnt be able to easily reach up there and tuck one of our terrorist toddlers into bed for the night. The slide is SUPER slick. We have to put a pillow at the bottom to help catch the flying kiddo.
All in all, I am THRILLED with this bed! It was worth the money!

Great height!
Not quite as sturdy after our kids have used it, but everything else is great. We love the height and our kids love their bunks.
