My eldest daughter and husband put it together in a couple hours. I love everything about this bed. Sturdy, easy to assemble, and great value for money
So as many I was on a budget and was on a search for a good quality bed but most importantly a bed that provided more then just sleep and taking up space. During pandemic so many things are closed and decided to make our living space as interactive and educational as possible. Thinking outside the box and not have our home just look like a showroom. So this bed is very easy to put together, I actually assembled by myself, but would go by quicker with two people. But I personally enjoy assembling projects on my own its quite relaxing plus it was a surprise for children. The bed is very sturdy and solid once assembled to move it does require two people as it is quite heavy. My children are toddlers and running in circles up and down to go on slide. I weigh about 125lbs and went on top and was extremely sturdy. There room is now a room they love to be in and are constantly playing in. Prior to this bed they were never in there room as they had two twin beds and literally took up the entire room with this low loft bed an amazing perk is it also provides so much extra space and I feel so safe with them utilizing it as I am 5 ft tall and for the first time Im taller then something. Lol so the height is perfect and I dont worry that they are to high. So I would give this bed 5stars and highly recommend to all parents. Great price and Great quality.
Super cute! Very sturdy. The smell was a bit much the first few days but now its gone. Putting together that headboard/ footboard parts were super hard but once that was together, it was very simple to assemble. My kids love them! The bar in the middle makes the top very sturdy also!
This is probably the fifth set up we have used for our small spaces home, for our two young boys. Bunks can be very bulky and a pain to assemble, but these were very easy, and they are a much smaller foot print than some. Our kiddos love them! The only negative is the terrible smell from the sealer, but thats how anything coming in a box is.
This product took about a month to arrive. So, we live in Alaska and not the lower 48, which may have contributed to the delay. As seen in the photo, the box was beat up well. Yes, all the parts fit in this box that weighed about 85 pounds. It may be best to have some help. I managed to put this together alone; however, when it came to attaching the railings, I had assistance. The product comes tightly packed, although the box was beat up, I uploaded a photo of one of the railings that appears to be bruised. Everything fit and was easy to put together.
Some concerns:
1) the intoxicating smell of the paint. It is cold up here, but if you can unbox and allow the parts to air out for a couple days, that would be helpful. We have an airpurifier running and the smell is still intense.
2) spacing. The top bunk I placed a 10 twin mattress from a warehouse store and on the bottom bunk I have a 7 box in a bed twin mattress. Depending on how tall your children may be, if I put the 10 mattress on the bottom bunk my 4 year old will definitely hit his head. The bunk bed does not split and turn into two twin beds.
Overall, this is a good bed that may last a year unless my 4 year old hits a growth spurt, in which I will have to sell this bed.
